camera mx lowest resolution? &video time limits?

Howdy !

Just downloaded Camera MX in my verizon s5. I want to make videos with ok resolution to send to family etc but do not want them to go over 20MG. tough to attach any bigger than that!
I have it down to about 10MB per minute. any way to get it lower?

also question number 2 - is there anyway to limit the videos ? this is so i do not go over 20 MB. any kind oe pre- timer or time limit setting in videos??

making a variable visible in switch statement

Hi all - In the code below, I need the variables button1 and button2 to be visible in the switch statement to change their button text after being clicked.The switch statement happliy uses their button id's to decide which was clicked, but it can't see the button1 or button2 variables in the switch statement when I try to do a simple statement like

I added the code inside the first case to create a local button1, but isn't there a better way?

Telephoto Camera

Hey guys I was wondering if you could take a moment to post some pics (light and dark settings) with the telephoto lens? I find the quality to be very poor and grainy on my phone and I use the highest MP setting and the superbright and HDR are off (I tried with them on as well doesn't change much) I would just like to see if all of our cameras give the same results thanks guys!

Haunted Earbuds Turning On in Other ROOOOMMM!!

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I've got the Jabra Elite Active 65t, which I love like a family member. But I've had them about 2 years and I'm having an issue with them.

The earbuds come with a little case that charges them. In addition, taking the earbuds out of this case turns them on, connecting them to your phone. Lately, my earbuds have stopped turning on when I remove them from the case. I have to turn them on manually. That part doesn't really bother me.

What is strange is that the earbuds have started turning on *while they're in their case.* I'll get a phone call and pick it up and see the bluetooth volume gauge drop down over the galaxy S10 screen. Oftentimes they're in my locker in work so I have no way to get to them. I'll have to go into the menu and turn off the bluetooth option just so I can go through with the phone call.

Not quite sure why this is happening. I've made sure all patches and updates are correct. Just curious if anyone else's earbuds are HHHAAAUUUNNNTTTEEEDDDDDD

sd card corrupt

hi, i have a galaxy s9 with a sd card which was working fine, i have tried to use its saying its corrupt, i tried to format it but it keeps saying unable to format and i have also on another programme got this error message come up
[ERROR] Invalid end of sector signature: 0x0003
[ERROR] fat_check_validate_boot_sector returned error: 22 (Invalid argument)
[ERROR] Initializing cached values failed: 22 (Invalid argument)

Any ideas on how to fix please .

Cubot King Kong orange state

I have a problem with my brother's Cubot.

He asked me to root it. The first problem appeared when I started fastboot mode. The phone stopped reacting when I was pressing buttons and to exit the mode i had to wait to battery discharge (nothing was did yet, fastboot was started for the very first time).

The next and biggest problem appeared after installing twrp. I unlocked OEM, installed the above-mentioned picture and reset the phone. Since then I can only see this what is on the picture i attached. Side buttons don't react, I cannot start the fastboot. After connecting to a computer I can hear the sound which informs about finding device and then device manager is going crazy, the device disconnection sound appears over and over again. I cannot do completely anything neither by phone nor computer. And the phone starts only for a while when I coonect it to the charger

Splashscreen Android Studio

buongiorno e buona pasqua.... sono nuovo su questo forum e sono alle prime armi con android. Ho creato, con android studio, uno splash screen di un semplice Logo (png di 1300x400 px) e quando faccio run funziona. Ho creato un apk con la funzione build (per provare su un smartphone) ma non carica l'immagine (videta bianca per 3 secondi e poi parte l'app). E' un problema del telefono (un semplice vodafone VFD 600)? Grazie

I created, with android studio, a splash screen of a simple Logo (png of 1300x400 px) and when I run it works. I created an apk with the build function (to try on a smartphone) but it does not load the image (white videta for 3 seconds and then the app starts). Is it a phone problem (a simple vodafone VFD 600)? Thank you

Locked out Secure startup PIN

I have a problem with my LG G5 (but saw it happens in other LG phones)
I have a PIN screen lock and I changed it a couple of days ago.
I was talking on the phone when it restarted (I remember the battery was hot).
Now the phone is on "Secure startup" and I had 30 tries to unlock it (15 remained).
I have the "white" screen (and can't get to the "black" screen, more details down).

I saw a number of posts on this issue.
I can only enter PIN (no character keyboard).
I tried the current and previous PIN. Also tried: 0, 0000, 00000, PUK code.
Some of those tried also on safe mode.
When tried to fill the screen with zeros as much as possible and tried to unlock, I got a screen that said something like (translated):
In order to open the lock, turn off the phone and power it on again.
Did it but didn't change. Than I thought I should have pressed restart (instead of turning off and then on) but didn't got to this screen, just stayed on the same screen with one try less.

I can get to factory reset, only this option yes/no.
I don't want to hard reset because some files are not backed up.
Also can get to Fastboot mode and Download mode.

If I restart (or power off and on) the phone is on flight mode.
I can call to emergency numbers, and when I call and hangs up, suddenly there is a cellular connection and 4G data.
In this situation I can receive calls, but still can call only emergency numbers.

The phone is not rooted and I don't use special ROM or something like that.
From time to time it makes tick sounds (like pressing a button) every few seconds. The rest of the time it doesn't make any sound.
The computer recognizes the phone and installs the driver - "Android bootloader interface" but I can't see the phone on my computer.
Also tried to connect through Google Find but it can't locate the phone and the lock option there doesn't seem to do anything (writes request sent).

I also have a memory card, do you know if the data on it is OK? (I don't have a card reader)

There is a problem contacting stores because of the Corona.

Amazon Firestick

I recently aquired an amazon firestick 4k which i cannot register. I got in touch with amazon and told them my problem. They asked for the serial number on the box as the stick was probably deregistered. I could not give them the serial number as i only have the firestick.They said there is nothing they could do without it. I was wondering if you knowledgeable people could help me or do i bin it?

I have an LG V40 ThinQ. When I try to set up Google Pay, it says "This phone can't be used...rooted or altered...". How can I get Google Pay to work? Below is all the pertinent information I have:Downloaded a number of root checkers, all indicate phone not rooted
  • Bought phone off of Ebay
  • Thought it was a factory unlocked phone, but model number (LM-V405UA) indicates it's a Sprint phone
  • Based on that, I'm guessing it was altered in some way
Other than rooting the phone, any suggestions on getting Google Pay to work

Block iPhone Tapbacks?

Is there any way to block iPhone tapbacks, or better yet, turn it into an emoji?
I'm so tired of seeing:

Liked "...
Emphasized an Image

I mean, why doesn't apple just send a laughing emoji or a thumbs up?
I'd pay $100 for an app that would just block these messages
Until then, I'm just responding in kind, copying their text message and adding "Laughed at" in front of it

ADB connection problems

I have just started writing Android apps. They are just for my own education / amusement.
I have Android Studio installed on both a Windows10 setup and Debian Linux. Both systems are on the same physical computer and therefore connect to the same router on the same network.

I can write and test my apps on the emulators on both systems and they work fine.

I have 2 TV boxes that I am also practicing on, both working and both on the same network.
I connected to both of them using adb over TCP/IP under Windows and installed and ran my app on them - no problem.
Since then, I had to reboot my computer and now they won't connect. If I use the standard command and the default port 5555 then I get error 10031. If I try a different port I get error 10016.
There are numerous posts online about this but none of the remedies work for me.
I think it is a Windoze problem because If I boot into Debian Linux and run Android Studio and adb on there, I can connect to both boxes and run my app. Going back to Windows again still gives the same errors. I have re-booted everything and nothing helps.

Obviously, both boxes have developer mode enabled. This is not a network issue, everything is on the same network. I do not have the option to connect via USB cable as many of the solutions suggest but I can't see why that would change anything. USB / TCP/IP are totally different protocols.

Any ideas will be gratefully accepted!
