After some months of diving into Kotlin & Android Studio, I just finished my app "Wallpaper Express" which is now available for download on Google Play Store.

I love photography and also love coding, so I tried to put both together and create a wallpaper app featuring my own image portfolio which I built over the last years. While other wallpaper apps just grab and show content from license free image sites, Wallpaper Express has a unique set of images. It took mesome time learn Kotlin/Java/Android Studio, but I finally made it.

Hello to the community ! 1 year now i changed my internet provider and put a vdsl connection . Everything was good ( i had a s9 + ) , But 3 months now i have this problem : All the mobile android devices i have cant connect to some apps ( like zedge , gmail e.t.c ) and it lags very much on google play store. When i use mobile data or other wi-fi they work good . Also i put a VPN and they worked well . I believe its a setting on my router but i cant find anything i searched a lot everywhere . Any solutions ? I cant see emails nothing :/ !!!

Suddenly the screen on my Samsung S9 bleached out. I see mostly white with a hint of pink and green. But it still responds to touch.. I just can't see anything.

I'm trying to mirror the phone to my pc to navigate it, but all these programs I've found want me to install the program on my phone first... which I can't do!

Any advice on being able to mirror the phone on the pc would be great, thanks.

Why can't a SINGLE back swipe gesture close the keyboard and go to the previous screen? like how it is on iOS

Example: when you're on an app like Instagram or Whatsapp.while typing the keyboard is open. we need to swipe back "twice" to go back to the previous page.

1st to close the keyboard
2nd to go back to the previous screen.

Solution: Swipe back "Once" it closes the keyboard and goes to the previous screen. And to close the keyboard we already have a tiny button below the keyboard to do it.

For people who want to collapse keyboard:
There's a dedicated small button on Samsung/Swift Keyboard to do the same ... It will collapse the keyboard only... On OnePlus there's a small black bar in the bottom for this.

Or

a simple Swipe Down gesture on the keyboard can collapse the keyboard. On OnePlus there's a small black bar in the bottom for this.

I installed a gold-colored theme for my new Samsung S20. One of the things it did was change all my AOD notification icons to a gold color. I then decided I didn't like the theme and uninstalled it. However the AOD notification icons are still showing as gold. Is there any way I can change them back to their default colors? Many thanks.

When I use talk to text for texting it gets lots of words wrong and I speak pretty clearly too. I'm using the default settings by the way.

Great phone. Purchased in September 2019 and I've had a completely trouble free run. Very impressed with design and handling. Obviously this phone hasn't caused any grief to other users as there are no recorded problems.

My current Moto Z² Force Edition is less than a year old; it was a new replacement under my warranty. I love it, and have absolutely zero problems with, or complaints about, it. But I'm getting that itch to buy a new phone, you know?

I intend to stick with, and buy directly from, Motorola as usual. My carrier is Consumer Cellular.

Assume that money is no object, and the one thing you're sure of is that you don't want a Razr. Which of these Motorola phones would you buy, and why? I'm bouncing back and forth between a few of them.

My main use of the phone would be on Wi-Fi, at home (like 99.9% of the time), doing things like posting on AF. Also, housecleaning on my network, shopping, banking, paying bills, taking spur-of-the-moment photos and videos, and rarely, if ever, playing games. Its use as an actual phone will be almost nonexistent--that's what my landline is for!

I don't really care about, but am intrigued by the fact that Motorola brought back, earphone jacks on some models.

Ideally, I'd have a nice, big screen--with guaranteed shatterproof glass, like my Z²--but without a lot of weight. Battery time is not a huge factor for me.

What do you think?

(This may end up being purely hypothetical...if my better judgment kicks in. I typically use a phone for 2-3 years, and have no good reason to buy a new one right now.)

I got a Moto G6 from Straight Talk. I like it but it seems to only support screen casting and not mirroring. It won't mirror on my Samsung TV. (My Galaxy S3 with Slim Rom will, however, so I know my TV works.)

I can't find a custom ROM to try on my G6, so before I give up on it, is there any way to get screen mirroring from my G6? Any solution has to not require an Internet connection because I live on a farm with no Internet. (I'm not interested in a lame sat Internet plan.)

My end goal: Be able to use my unlimited data plan to watch Netflix via screen mirroring so I can reserve my limited hot spot for other things.

I have a Galaxy S8+. Since I got it I've noticed apps will randomly close at any given moment. When scrolling on Facebook, it will randomly close out, playing a game and it will close out, most of the time restarting the game and making me lose points. I've search and seen many with this issue, but no solution yet?? I believe my phone is up to date. Any ideas?
