I am not able to use the StrictMode.ThreadPolicy library even after

StrictMode.ThreadPolicy policy =new StrictMode.ThreadPolicy().Builder().permitAll().build();
It returns
ThreadPolicy is not public in android.os.StrictMode.ThreadPolicy. Cannot be accessed from outside package.

Anyone encountered similar problem or know the solution?

After 3 months of hard work and thanks to the gracious advice provided by other Android users and developers, I have finally launched DiffFinder, an app that compares Docx, PDF, and plain text files along with user inputted texts.

After that i went to android 10
Cannot use any samsung official app cuz i tripped the knox
I cannot now root s9 plus , triedo to flash twrp but never open the twrp recovery to flash magisk etc

The main idea of rooting again on android 10 is to change the build prop after that but i saw many comments that there is not blood pressure i dont know guys need your lights here..

Tried patched apks for s health app there is no blood pressure option(heart sensor)

So earlier yesterday I did move my photos away from my moto z2 force, I did download a newer type of one, but something tells me the strange SD reader, cannot move XXyy to Xxxyyy location due to SD card, but I cannot remember what the name of the app was, because there is ten billion ones named Gallery, I should re download QuickPick since it worked excellent on my phone.. Unless there is a free gallery app that is extremely useful for me, any help would be appericated

I just found out about this. I downloaded, actually borrowed, an ebook only to find I didn't have the right equipment to view it. Then I downloaded the Adobe, but for some reason the phone wouldn't install it, even with two tries. What's the deal? The phone's a Samsung Galaxy S5, and the files are URL links to something called acsm. By the way, why wouldn't it be possible to keep the books instead of just borrowing them? I would understand if they weren't digital.

My name is Kevin. I own what I believe is an Android Aria. Its model number is QS5509A. I wish to ask two very noobish questions:
1. How do I add this device to "DEVICES"? Yes, my knowledge is currently lacking about the manufacturer and it may not even be an Android Aria.
2. Just recently, I found a cord. This cord I am pretty sure is compatible with my android device. If I use it to charge my phone:
A. It will damage the phone.
B. It will not damage the phone, and therefore using it is a good idea.
C. Most importantly, can anyone tell me if the cord fits snugly into the appropriate port, is there a 100%
chance of it being compatible with my phone?

Samsung S10+. Recently reset to factory. Almost all notifications (Gmail, outlook, hangouts, gvoice, Facebook, etc) do not notify. They all require manual opening and refresh.

Right now only Google messages (sms) appears to work OK.

- Battery mode is set to high performance.
- Have removed sleep settings/optimize battery on all primary apps
- DND is not on (set for night)
- Sync is enabled
- No apps managing battery/sleep
- Wiped cache partition

Also every now and then, I get flooded with duplicate notifications (usually outlook and Facebook messenger).

Not sure how to fix but would really appreciate any support!

As you can see, the update system was without any sort of regularity early on, but the Ice Cream Sandwich era started the yearly OS version update schedule.

I use Pi music player, but the problem I'm having seems to effect them all.. It seems that every player I've tried will automatically start playing the moment I connect to a Bluetooth speaker, remembering what it was playing before, and that is annoying, for me, anyway. Anyone have advice?

I've read that it's best not to put apps to sleep or they won't receive notifications or updates. I went into settings and selected that option NOT to put apps to sleep. Then I go about my beeswax thinking things are good and fine. (fa-la-la-la-laaa) Next thing you know I pop into the sleeping apps folder (curiosity) and there are like 10 apps in there sleeping and I'm like WTF!?! I ticked the Do Not Sleep setting!!

I have buy a china device. and i will install custom ROM / system

MYCELL

I have unlocked the boot-loader
And i have take backup of ROM/Firmware.

I use (SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Linux) to flash new system.img.
But then i do that i got stuck on boot logo, then i flash back to official ROM, so i can run the phone again.

My question is how i can install another firmware to the phone.
Any one can help me ?

I received this morning a notification to update the android 9 one UI for my Galaxy A40.
After the installation, the phone went to restart, as usual. However now it's stuck on the restart page with just the Samsung logo on the screen.

Things I already tried: force restarting it with the side buttons, going on the recovery mode and clearing off the cash.

Any solutions?
Or at least how can I retrieve my files before resetting the phone to factory settings?

Suddenly, my S8 will beep 3 times when I power it up. It only happens at powerup.

So I'm getting a telemarketing call so I went ahead and blocked it. So now the phone doesn't ring anymore but I still get a beep saying that this number got blocked and it shows the number being blocked at the top. Whats the effing point of the number being blocked if I'm still getting a notification and a beep ? I looked through the settings and I don't think I can stop this from happening is that correct ? it's just so annoying.
