Folks, I just loaded 10.3.1 (over the air from OnePlus) and now I can't receive any MMS messages on the Google messenger I had the exact same issue when I loaded 10.3.0. I called OnePlus support and they wanted to factory reset my phone.(I refused to do that and finally found another way via a 6T forum). They (and I) went to Verizon and got a new SIM's chip and it fixed it. I called OnePlus and asked that they give that information to others instead of telling users to do a full factory reset. They apologized and said the rep should have looked for other solutions. BUT..... No I have the same issue with 10.3.1 NO MMS's can be received. Very frustrating....

I'm trying to make a decision, and keep vacillating back and forth on it, so I thought I'd get some input.

Okay, Earthlink has been my ISP since the '90s. When I wanted to upgrade from DSL to cable, they explained that the service would be provided over Time Warner's [now Spectrum's] cables, and billing would come from TW. But it was still an Earthlink account, and my primary, personal e-mail address would be unaffected.

I recently spoke to Spectrum about an ad I've seen which doubles my speed--and costs $1 a month less! They said that even though no physical changes would occur, if I made this change to my service I'd no longer have an Earthlink account; it would be well and truly Spectrum.

They explained that they bought out Earthlink and, as a courtesy to its customers, grandfathered us in without forcing us to change to Spectrum e-mail addresses--but any change to service would trigger that.

I've had my personal my_full_name@earthlink.net address for 25-ish years, and get virtually no spam--because of how carefully I've shared it; only my closest friends and relatives know it. I don't want to lose it! But, damn!, doubling my speed with no rate increase is really enticing.

Until my live-in helper moved in, my 50/5 plan was more than enough for the way it was being used: web browsing, e-mail, up- and downloading things, Twitter, banking, forums. But she streams. A lot. Her use affects mine, negatively, by slowing things down.

So what do you think? Should I stick with my decades-old account so I can keep its e-mail address, or upgrade--and kiss it goodbye?

I recently checked my router's specs, and it can easily handle the higher speed, so I won't have to buy a new router. But I'm not sure about the modem.

PS As I've been writing this, it's actually become pretty obvious what I should do. But what the hell? I'd still like to hear opinions.

When I connect my P10 Lite to my Windows 7 PC using HiSuite, The program does not see any photo on my phone, either the ones on my sd card or the ones in the phone's memory. If I take the SD card out of my phone, then HiSuite can see the photos from the internal memory just fine. Weirdly, when the SD Card is in it can see the videos I have on my SD Card, but not any photo.

However, the photos can be seen in HiSuite by using the File Manager, on both the phone's memory and the SD Card.

The phone, the app and PC program are all updated to the latest versions.

Has any one else encountered this problem?

Hei ! I got SM-A520f phone with android ver 8.0.
I changed the system thru odin, but after this happend problems:
The wifi is not working with Google Play, Samsung Cloud, Chrome, Internet.
But with Facebook, Instagram wifi is working ... Strange !
I changed everything on wifi - name, gateway address, IPv4 address but no change.
I got another Android A20s and everything is working on phone and Ipad. There no problem with router.
I start think that the problem with wifi on phone.

I'm thinking about buying the venu. How well does the oxygen saturation work? Is it as accurate as the ones you put in the end of your finger?

I'm trying to integrate Cloud Speech to Text API into my Android mobile app (minSdkVersion 19, androidx, java). After following the instructions here, compiling & running my app, the app throws a catch from within the "sampleRecognize" method:

The code is nothing more than what is listed here. Am i supposed to add extra code to make use of the JSON file which Google neglected to mention?

My Honor 5X has taken to telling me that my "process system isn't responding". The window gives me the option to Dismiss or Wait. I usually choose Dismiss, but that message keeps popping up daily. Any ideas what I can do to stop this window from popping up in the first place?

Oh, I have tried rebooting, but that didn't make the window go away.

How do I get Google Assistant to shut up? Every time I touch my Honor 5X, put it in my pocket, or just use it Google Assistant asks me to turn her on. I don't use Google Assistant, and it irritates me that it keeps popping up asking me to turn her on.

Please help before I throw my Honor 5X on the floor and stomp on it! Thanks.

I have used ES Explorer for years. It is so handy transferring files from my phone to tablet and my pc.
But it has had bad reviews and now not on google play
So unable to add it to my new phone.
Can anyone suggest a simple program that will enable me connect my gadgets with a couple of clicks?
Most of the file explorers seem so complicated when I try them. I cant figure them out.

I am having a disply issue with my s10 plus
I recently modified the "Always On" feature and changed my home screen picture. Did a couple other things to try and change how the display looked and somehow I think I turned a feature that I dont want.
While the phone is charging wirelessly at night, the Always on clock comes on however the letters and numbers are very large and bright. Wakes the wife up which is not good. I already set the "Always On" feature to shut down between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am but this doesn't help. It only seems to happen late at night (early morning) while charging wirelessly. Maybe a notification for something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 (Samsung-SM-J320A). I have tried a few of the "smart phone" as I need to be remotely notified I received a text and email, and have that message displayed. I do not need to reply; just be able to read it. I been not been able to get any watches to receive notification although some watches did pair and connect successfully.

Does anyone have a smart watch and Samsung phone that will send texts to their watch? I'd think this is a simple thing as my phone now does that to many devices, just not these "smart watches".

I have a Samsung galaxy s8+, and my wife has a LG H872. I have a 2016 Honda Civic Ex-t coupe that has android auto and I've owned the car since day one. The new android auto menu comes up fine and stays on, however as soon as I press one of the apps, (doesn't matter which one) I get a message device disconnected. I have changed cables and had the ports replaced, still getting the same problem. Now for the weird part, tried my phone in my wife's 2019 Honda HRV and android auto worked fine could use all the functions. Took her phone into my car, with my cable and her phone worked perfectly with my android auto, no problems whatsoever. Switched over to my phone and got the same problem as before. I have uninstalled and reinstalled android auto numerous times, same problem. I have deleted and reinstalled the phone on the car more than once. I have rebooted the system in the car twice. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

I'm building an embedded system with TI's TRF7970A RFID transceiver. I created an application that employs Host based Card Emulation. I have been able to successfully send and receive commands to and from the application. I'm just want to know how it is possible (on the Reader side - the firmware) to distinguish between different android phones?
If so, can this be done during the ISO 14443A anti-collision/activation process?
Is it also possible to edit the contents of the Historical Bytes for the ISO-DEP process?

I bought a new 128g OTG usb thumb drive and my pixel 2xl wont read it. It wont format it either. When it prompts to format it the drive the screen swaps over to the Google white screen and the loading bar just sticks it never boots or completes. It goes to the 20% screen and does nothing. I'r formatted through my pc which when read by the pixel says it needs formatting. I've also enabled usb debugging. I'm kinda stumped on what to do. I am running version 10
