I’m thinking about making the change from an iPhone 6 to a Moto g7 Power. I’m not too worried about the display quality or camera. Likewise, the various apps that I use - I’m sure they’ll be fine. My biggest concern is voice functionality. I use my phone for my mobile business, so I use these commands all the time...
“Directions to [contact name]” — Apple Maps often crashes on my way to my destination - especially if I don’t leave it running in the foreground.
“Remind me to call [name] when I leave here.”
“Create appointment [contact name] [date/time]” — Siri often borks this but I can say, “change the title” to fix it. Can I do that with an Android phone?
“Remind me to ______ when I get home”
“Create a new note in Evernote.” — I’ll use the new note to document the details of the service call I just finished. It would be great if I could say, “I’m not finished” or “add to note” - but I can’t do that now when Siri often cuts me off in mid-sentence (which happens a lot)

I also use voice commands to send text messages, hear text messages, and make phone calls. A couple things I can’t do now that I’d really like to be able to do are: 1) Say, “Call [name] on speaker” and 2) “Call [name] using Google Voice”. It would also be nice to be able to use voice commands to hear text messages and voicemails in Google Voice. Any chance there’s (much) better integration on an Android phone (since they’re both in the Google ecosystem)?

I also use a ton of keyboard shortcuts — I type in an abbreviation and it’s auto-replaced with a longer phrase. And I can add new ones fairly easily by telling Siri to “open keyboard settings”.

Have been using Cricket since 2017. Have 10gig plan and FOXFI for hot spot about 2 months ago data speed reduced to make hot spot virtually unusable. Was downloading audio books in overdrive. Now impossible. Live in rural MN. Use old Kyocera because new Phones wont allow Foxfi. Seems cricket throttling service. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm looking to upgrade from my S10e and I'm trying to decide between the Galaxy Note 10 and the Oneplus 7 Pro.
I found both for around $530 ropen box so they are pretty comparable in price. The display and OS on the 7 Pro really sway me towards Oneplus but the S pen and all the Samsung extra features make me question my choice.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What's the best way to setup Google mini speakers and Nest Hub when you have multiple users?

I think I've set them up to my Google account and have a custom routine for 'Good night' on the mini speaker. When I speak to it, it works fine, but if my wife talks to it, it plays the default.

Also I've noticed on the Hub, if I talk to it, it shows my profile icon but not if the wife talks to it. I'm not sure if I need to setup the voice match, add her as an account, or configure them both on a joint Google account that we have.

I live in Spring Hill, TN. I work in Franklin, TN. Both cities are pretty major cities. At home, I get two bars of signal. I usually can make phone calls, but rarely can I use data off of wifi. At my work, downtown Franklin, I get often no signal at all. A few days ago I was at a doctor and I didnt have my insurance card and was trying to get online to get my policy info and couldn't get online.

I recently upgraded from an LG V30 to a Samsung Note 10+. I've had this bad service on both phones, so the phone isnt the issue.

I am attaching what the open signal map shows as my coverage in my home area. Does anyone know why the map shows only small dots of coverage? Is it saying coverage is really spotty?

I need help. I uninstalled accidentally the internal storage of my Huweii s7, Android 2.2.2 - Went to Options- Sd and tablet memory- and tapped on Uninstall internal SD. I lost all my data, apparently. Then tried to fix it by enabling the debug after connecting it to the PC and rebooting several time. It worked for a while, now it doesn't anymore. Is there a trick to solve this?

I need a way to reverse that process. Now there's no storage in my tablet, not only the internal, but I can't see the memory card. Tried to debug and reboot several times as before but nothing happened. I can't upload the picture of the screen, but In Options- sd and memory - is written:

Total space: Not available Available space: not available

Install SD card: Insert a Sd card to mount

Internal storage tablet Space available 1,39 MB

I purchased this device (Mi 8 Pro, not 8) last August with 128GB internal storage. This handset is released Dec 2018, so it is rather new. But since Oct 2019 I don't get any updates, the latest being MIUI 11.0.5 (with Android 9).
Did they now already stop updating within a year of release ?

Hi, I rooted my phone in order to change the shutdown.qmg and bootsamsung.qmg to an end with .bak or .old so to delete the logo from my carrier when starting up/restarting.
Yet, any app would not let me rename the files after a root. With this I mean root browser and other. The phone was set to factory settings before rooting. Thank you in advance!

I usually have to do this daily, at least once - to go to System Optimizer to clean temporary files and cache etc. But it's strange that after using a little while, there's already over 100Mt junk... then I clean that, and going back sometimes just 1 minute after, and there's again around 100Mt!!! How's that possible!?

On the list of dirts, there's even stuff from Apps which I didn't even use!!!! Like Google Play Shop...
I thought I turned the background date off already from all the apps, but those are somehow still on, and I don't know how to switch all that off.
