Is there a way someone that sent me sms text messages to my LG G7 phone can delete them? I had a conversation thread with someone a few months ago. I went back and looked and all of the responses they sent are not gone. But the messages I sent are still there. Is there a way I can get their responses back?

Hello, My phone connects to Samsung galaxy u level pro earphones no problem, but there is no any sound. When connected to another device, it works just fine. If I connect bluetooth speaker to it, it plays sound just fine. Any help, please? Oh, and these earphpnes works perfectly fine when connected to laptop.

As obvious the game was lagging with that setting. So I installed Roehsoft Ram expander to get additional 4 GB of Virtual RAM. When I chose the option to create a Swap File of 4 GB in Roehsoft RAM expander it said 'Kernel Swap Space Limit detected! Please reduce the Swapfile Size lower 1GB! and try
again! ' I thought flashing a custom kernel like Franco Kernel would solve this problem but it didn't changed anything .

Anyone have any idea to Bypass this Swap Space limit ?

I decided to write first here to understand how everything works

I recently uninstalled an app, Free TV, that was not what it was purported to be, but I am still getting notifications on my status bar. The notifications are not coming from emails or web notifications but are titled from the app itself even though it has been uninstalled. Is there a place that you have to go to finish clearing out all the bits and pieces of an app once you uninstall? Note 8, N950U, Android V. 9, One UI Ver. 1, Patch lvl jan 1 2020

Creating a LinearLayout programmatically involves calling something like

myLinearLayout.setLayoutParams(new LinearLayout.LayoutParams(LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT));

But even though this custom layout is extended from LinerLayout, it has declared it's version of LayoutParams as private (inside PhysicsLinerlayout.java), so I cannot call the setLayoutParams() function for this custom layout. How can I create an instance of this custom layout programmatically in this case?

The main search bar at the top of every page on Android Forums is useful for quickly finding devices, apps, and games. However, when you're looking for an app or game that has a common name or for which there are lots of clones and knockoffs... which one is the correct forum?

We've added the ability for users to search by package name!

1. Go to the Google Play Store
2. Copy the package name from the URL
   1. Ex URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tapatalk.androidforumscom
   2. Package name: com.tapatalk.androidforumscom
3. Enter the package name into the AF search bar
4. VOILA!

What if you enter the package name and can't find the result? That means we don't yet have a forum for that app. You can solve this problem in one of 2 ways:

1. Download the AF App and click on the App Forum from there (this will create the forum)
2. Make your post in the General Apps & Games Forum

We're looking into the possibility of letting both staff and users create App and Game forums when they don't yet exist but for now this is a pretty good improvement. Big thanks to @Morgan for getting this done!

I just wanted to comment . I have been reading all the posts about folk being hacked and change passwords ...reset phone ....2 step verification. Etc etc
I have done all of the above several times to no avail.
I have gone grey with all the stress.
I know who it is and he has had access to my phone.
I have been officially told I have been hacked and my personal details shared on a hackers website.
The most recent (2 days ago) a casino account with my surname and 666 on the end set up. THEY were emailing me with offers. Multiple emails later they still haven't deleted it.
Where do I go from here???
Throw away my phone my tablet and go back to the old days.
I think he is remotely accessing my Wi-Fi.....I live in a shared house they think I'm crazy. Have asked them to change all the passwords.

Has anyone got the message on their Facebook account that says, "You're invited to the new Facebook exerience"? The layout is completely modernized but the biggest change might be the option to use a dark theme.

This option is displayed prominently for desktop in Chrome. However, I don't see that option on mobile in Chrome or in the Android app (and obviously no clue regarding Facebook Dark Theme on iPhone).



Does anyone know where to find the Facebook Dark Theme option for Android or mobile web? Have you made the switch and do you like it?

Every now and then ( and this has happened with 3 different Samsung phones A20 A3 and another) gmail has sent me a security alert stating that a new Linux device has accessed my account when I have logged in. It's definitely me but how can this be??
I have had all my personal details compromised my bank account accessed and the most recent is a casino account with my surname and 666 on the end .....creepy.
I didn't set it up. Am tearing my hair out I want to get rid of all my android and switch to Apple.
But apart from that is this Linux thing normal ??
P.s am not really sure what Linux is ....an operating system sort of !!!

How do I get the comma back on my keyboard? Just recently, the comma transformed into an @ symbol, which I don't mind looking for on the symbols keyboard when (rarely) I need one. I use the comma every message. Other posts elsewhere indicate pressing the space bar would bring up a comma on the suggestion bar -- it doesn't. How can I get the comma back on the keyboard? And if you have any insight, why would a developer purposefully do something so annoying to begin with?

We use Outlook for Android on Samsung mobiles in an Exchange/MobileIron environment. More and more of our users are logging calls advising that outlook stops syncing and all emails disappear from their account on the mobile. Deleting the account and re-adding it fixes it but obviously this isn't ideal as it happens again and again intermittently. Looking for a more permanent fix. Any help appreciated.
