Bluemail & Calendar

Are these two apps connected/linked in some way?

I've been using Bluemail for a few years already, but only recently started to use Calendar.

I notice when a Calendar reminder appears as a notification, immediately below it there's exactly the same reminder below it under the heading Bluemail.

Can I prevent the Bluemail reminder, as it does seem pretty pointless?

Problems with Facebook for S9

When watching a live video, I am seeming to have issues seeing peoples comments if someone replies to that comment. Not the reply, but the comment that illicited a response from someone. Thinking this is an S9 quirk as have noticed some others. Not sure if to post on the Facebook forum or here but trying both in case someone else has this issue or knows a solution to it.

Your Phone

I've never connected any of my phones to my PC via WiFi before. While I was playing.. I thought why not. The Your Phone app was on my PC and connecting was easy enough. I can see that it might be useful at times though I don't foresee the connection being used but rarely. I did have a question about the phone photos that were shared on the PC. The only pic folder from gallery that I can view from my PC is a recent folder. I am either missing the option to change the folder to view of there is no switching option. Any help would be appreciated.

Help Suggestions for data-only plan

Okay folks, I need your advice.

After scrounging around online, I can find scant few US carriers that provide a data-only plan. Those that do want to charge outrageous amounts that I refuse to pay. Here's the deal:

I crowdfunded a new dashcam. I have a 4K dashcam and love it - but this new one will record 4K in 360 degrees! No matter what happens to my vehicle, from any angle, this thing will have it recorded. It's in production and scheduled to ship next month.

It has cellular connectivity: so if it detects motion (ie, collision or break-in), it will record the event and send me a notification, along with the video. The problem I have is that I'm a Verizon customer... no other carrier comes close to their coverage here. The dashcam is GSM only... so a Verizon SIM won't work.

Does anyone here know of a CHEAP, data-only plan that I can use just for the dashcam? The cheapest I've found is US Mobile at $6/month for 1GB... but add all the taxes and fees to that, and the price just doubled. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

android 10 : android.process.media keeps stopping when invoke downloadmanager

Recently I start testing my app in Android 10 (it works fine on the previous version). When I invoke download manager for a file, I got a crash with a message:

android.process.media keeps stopping

This is my snippet code:

String mFilePath = "file://"
+ FileManager.getInstance(getApplicationContext()).getDir()
+ "/"
+ fileName
+ extension;
Uri downloadUri = Uri.parse(fileUrl);
DownloadManager.Request req = new DownloadManager.Request(downloadUri);
DownloadManager dm = (DownloadManager) getSystemService(DOWNLOAD_SERVICE);
dm.enqueue(req);

What's the exact problem?

Tetrd — USB Tethering & Reverse Tethering (NoRoot)

Hi guys! I made a USB tethering and reverse tethering app that doesn't require root. It also doesn't require you to enable USB debugging (except on Windows, I'll try to fix that on a later release). It uses USB accessory mode which can make it faster than apps that use ADB.

Tethering
This allows you to share your device's wifi or mobile internet connection with your PC. You can use this if your carrier or data plan doesn't allow you to enable the built-in tethering feature of your device. Or if you have unlimited data plan, but your carrier caps your hotspot/tethering usage to a certain amount, say 7GB.

Reverse Tethering
This feature allows you to share your PC's internet connection with your device. I use this to reduce lag when playing online games since my room has an unstable wifi signal and my PC is already connected to the internet via an ethernet cable. You can also use this if you're in a place where your PC has access to wired internet and there's no wifi available.
Note: Some apps only check for wifi or cellular connectivity, thus will not work when reverse tethering.

Network

When tethering or reverse tethering, your PC along with all connected devices will be in the same network. This means a device can communicate with your PC and other connected devices. This is useful if you want to transfer files from one device to another or if you want to access a server (e.g. HTTP server) on your PC from your device.

Additional Features
• No root required
• No USB debugging required (except on Windows)
• Fast link speed (200Mbps+ on some devices)
• IPv6 support (may not work on some devices)
• Up to five devices can be connected
• Configurable network settings

You can get the app here: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robskie.tether[/url

Please help someone tell me what's wrong

Someone please help me. I just herd factory reset my samsung galaxy j7 crown like two days ago . Somehow I have like 298 system apps . I've only downloaded 9 apps myself . I'm trying to figure out what system apps are like SIM app dialogs, shortcut BNR,Fused location,badge provider,boot agent,carrier code change, certificate installer. I have tons of apps that were downloaded somehow in dec of 2008. I feel like someone has hacked my phone and is doing some messed up crap. All of these apps say they have no permissions but when I look at the top right corner a it's all permissions it's letting g them do things like run a start up,close other apps ,delete packages,read and modify and delete or create a sd card, have full network access. All kinds of stuff.....what do I do

Help What app can always start media volume from mute?

Is there an app that can always start media volume from 0 for every new track/video played?
When my phone is silent mode, the media volume is not 0 (media not silent) and sometimes I get a shock sound when I play a video (my mind is thinking my phone is set to silent so I assume no sound) or some webpage that loads audio/video and creates a loud volume. Looking for some app that always switch the media volume to 0 maybe after a track ended or after some duration, or always put media vol 0 when my phone is silent mode. Or during silent mode media volume will auto be 0 unless I plug in earphones. Using Samsung Note 8. Thanks

Help Calendar entries made on phone don't sync to O365 on laptop

I have just recently moved from iphone to a Samsung and am still in that painful transition phase where nothing works and what used to be a simple task is now seemingly impossible, so I'm hoping that someone will know how to resolve one of the issues I'm having.

I have 3 email addresses that I want on my phone - O365, Yahoo and Gmail. On my iphone I just used their mail app and it was fine, and I also had Outlook for my work emails. I use my O365 for our family calendar so my husband and I have a synced calendar that we can both see on our phones.

My husband already has a galaxy fold and he just uses outlook for all his emails and calendar. However I cannot get it to work properly at all.
  • I tried the samsung mail app but it can't connect to our O365 calendar so that's not an option.
  • All personal emails are set up in outlook and I can send/receive emails ok.
  • I've got the O365 calendar turned on but removed the ticks from all other calendars.
  • If I add a calendar item on my laptop in outlook then it appears on my phone.
  • If I add a calendar item on my phone, it doesn't appear on my laptop and when I go into the calendar entry, it appears to be in a yahoo calendar, despite the fact I turned that off.
I can't work out which of the settings I need to change because compared to iphone, there just seem to be so many different places to edit settings.....VERY confusing!!!

I also can't create a recurring appointment on my phone in outlook. There doesn't seem to be any option in the app to set this up - am I missing something???

If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be very grateful because I am literally tearing my hair out over this new phone...... thank you :-)

Help Powerbank voltage and amperage help

Hello fellow users and citizens of the internet,

I intend to keep the health of my Galaxy A70 battery (4500mA) optimal for as long as possible, I try to keep my charge between 30-80% when possible, avoid fast charging when I don't need it (supports 25W charging), avoid high temperatures, rarely completely discharge or recharge it.

All of this and I still don't understand how voltage and amperage work in terms of battery health and safety.

Because I need to keep the charge between the mentioned interval I need to carry a powerbank, however, as far as I understand the voltage/amperage supported (5V;2A) isn't the same of the charger. I haven't used the powerbank yet because I need to buy a USB-to-USB Type-C cable, before I make the purchase I wanted to know if I should even use that powerbank so If anyone can share some knowledge, I'd appreciate it!

I've uploaded a photo of the device's charger and what it says.

Thank you and cheers!

Help My Samsung tablet is taking screenshots by itself all of a sudden.

Hi every1, I'm new here so hopefully I'm posting this in the right place if not maybe a moderator can help me if it's not posted correctly

I've had my tablet for about three and a half years already and only in the last month or two it is randomly taking a screenshot totally by itself. As you can imagine this has really freaks me out since it didn't do it until recently. I don't load or put any apps on my tablet really other than the ones that are already installed on there from the beginning

I looked in the gallery and I can see the screenshot of my screen that it took. This is so freaky especially since I did not do it. I tried clearing my history and my cache,, but it still came back a few days later and started doing this again

Thank you for any help suggestions or advice I would really appreciate it
