Hi

My problem is to get Kodi to open the app in TV mode.
If I open the app from Android Launcher it start as it should, if I add it as an favorite in Kodi and open it from there, it opens in phone mode. :-(

This is one of the things I have tried:
StartAndroidActivity(“no.nrk.tv.view.androidtv.AndroidTvMainActivity”)
Did not help :-(
What is the right syntax to do this you think?

I use an nVidia Shield TV.

Is there maybe an way to find what to write inside Kodi to open it the right way?

I was having GB whatspp in my mobile, which is old version. it was stopped working by saying outdated. then i stoped using that for few months. i copied the backup of the same GB whatspp folder (10.3 GB). now when i tried to open that backup through new version. it is giving error. saying that could not retrieve. please help me, how can i get the back in GB whats app or Whatsapp.

Was not too sure where to post this so I thought I would start with the Lounge.

I am working on an Android device that needs to have a fixed IP as well as a proxy server address/port configured. I have configured these settings in the WiFi connection properties but if I restart the device or even turn off/on WiFi, the connection properties default back to DHCP and no proxy server. I have tried "forgetting" the WiFi and re-configuring it but this did not change anything The device is running OS v7.0.

Is this a bug in this Android version and is there a way to fix this?

Hello,

I have doubts about my battery's health for the following reasons:

1. It heats up when put to charge.
   
2. It switches off on its own when the battery level is on its own, especially when I use step counters like "Thunderpod" and "Step Step Go".
   
3. It is discharging pretty quickly. It went from 66% charge to less than 15% charge in only about 3 hours as I was installing my apps and restoring my data after having reset the device.

Kindly confirm if my doubts are well founded.

Also, I had submitted my phone (Lenovo K8 Note) to the service center based on these doubts. But all that the service center did was reset it and hand it over to me claiming that they had tested it rigorously and that nothing's bad with my K8 Note's battery.

In this context, is there any objective way to prove to the service center that my battery is indeed at fault? Some possible ways that come to my mind are:

1. Any method to proving to them that the battery isn't being charged up to 4000 mAh, even when the device claims to be 100% charged?
2. Any logs which I can show to the service center suggesting that the device indeed switched off abruptly on its own when the charge was less than 20% because I had opened either of the two apps ('Thunderpod' and/or 'Step Step Go')?

Any possible help in this respect would be greatly appreciated.

My sprint tablet wont even let me do hard rest and when i charge it the red light just blinks on and off the table is my old school tablet so i personally dont know if they have warranty on it so im basically stuck and it fully charge when it stop working please help me

Greetings, My phone’s battery died at the night and i put its charger to charge it.When I woke up in the morning the battery still showed as zero and whenever I tried to open it,it closes while I typing the sim card password.And nothing changed after trying it for some time.Then I tried some other methods from the internet such as formatting,CustomRom etc.I’ve tried them many times but nothing changed. Right now the phone is closed and the battery is zero.But it shows as if it is charging.Phone model is Galaxy A7 (2016) Can I anyone help me with it? (I believe the problem caused from software,because I keep it in charge for hours in recovery mod and phone’s power doesn’t end but it closes when I open it )

I am trying to do image analysis, and I would want to perfom that on a bunch of recent image frames on multiple thread.

I have been experiencing an issue for about a month, though in researching it, I've found that it's been an issue for others for quite some time, on various Android phones and OS versions

1. Manufacturer - Google
2. Model - Pixel 3A
. Software version - 10
4. Specifics of the problem - Audio apps (radio, music) randomly pause, whether in active foreground or background, when phone is locked or unlocked, when multitasking or just listening passively while doing otehr things off the phone.
5. Not rooted

I listen to NPR while at work.I started with Radio FM but have also tried Simple Radio and Radio USA. About a month ago, it started just stopping. I'd have to go back and click Play again to get the radio going. Not app-based as it happened in all 3 radio apps.

It more recently started affecting my music. I use Pulsar for music playback. I will start a playlist as I start walking on the treadmill. I'll lock the screen and put it in my pocket. Screen lock either needs a passcode or fingerprint to unlock. But the music may just stop while it's in my pocket. Yesterday, I took it from my pocket and was multitasking while walking. Music stopped more often. I even used split screen so both apps would be active. Still stopped at least 12 times during one song (I counted).

In researching solutions, I've found this being reported in many forums (Samsung, spotify, Android Central) going back to 2017.

One solution that seemed to work when I tested with Pulsar was to turn off Battery Optimization for Pulsar. I played 3 songs while actively using another app. No stops.

I then tried all 3 radio apps after turning their Battery Optimization off. They still stopped.

Google support suggests a factory reset. Some forum users mentioned that a factory reset didn't resolve the issue.

I do note I got Android 10 on 12/1/2019, and a security update 12/5/2019. My service provider is T-Mobile.

Any ideas?

Anybody else use Drivesafe.ly for reading sms or emails? I have used it for 4 years now and it is the best - It does not work with the release of 10.0 - And they are not responding my requests for assitance.

I have already included my neural network as .lite file (TensorFlow Lite), it works rather good, but it is neccessary for me to place a button on the view to capture an image and to do more accurate prediction.

But author explain here how to do it in app where .pb model is used (TensorFlow Mobile). I want to install Android onto a USB stick

I want it to be a 'persistent' install - so things can be saved. Simple things like WiFi networks and maybe documents and other files.

I want to give the kids a laptop where they boot into android and access the Internet
+ where I can control access with Google parent.

Google parent is 95% great
It's buggy but it does the job and lets me stay in control the kids accessing on their mobiles.
I'm hoping I can control at the same time on a 'Chrome laptop'.

Are there any guides to doing what I want to do? Is there any reason why it won't work?

I found some guides for making a persistent install of Android - but these are from 2018. With no reference to using Google parent.

I'd like to save myself the need to buy a Google laptop.

I just got a Note 10+ and want to use SmartSwitch to transfer data from my S7 Edge.

The problem? My S7E has an SD card. I don't have one right now for the Note 10+. If I did not set up the card for adoptable memory, then I think (I don't know) that the transfer would simply transfer main memory and I could remove the SD card from the S7E and place it in the Note 10+.

Even more important is that I remember setting up a phone with adoptable memory (I think...that was a while ago). But I don't remember going through the extra steps required to do it on the S7E. But I do see on the card files other than data files.

So how can I tell if the SD card in the S7E is set up as adoptable memory or not? That could impact the transfer process.

Hi. I think smiley it's useful for me. Not all are necessary. The only I need are the one who show 'what I have eaten' because of my diabetic everyday I take note of what I have eaten and it's easier to see picture in my notes. (sorry for my basic English I hope I will be able to explain my problem)
I need some missing picture : paella, brown bred. Tortilla brown eggs not white (they were very well before updating) oyster. The syringe was very nice (a little blue) for my insulin now with the update it seens to be a blood syringe (well to indicate when they have taken.. For analysis. But one appeared while the other dissapered. The place for recent emoji is not big enough and the quick emiji show me all what I think it's stupid. All head of moon...🤔😂😑😔🌕😐😕😅😏 What for? I'll never use them in recent I am alway searching the ones who dissapered.
Were must I ask for more picture I need (food plate of regim food) where can I write for this problem?

So my note 10+ recently got Android 10 and I d preform a factory reset and when I use chrome or just a basic app my note 10+ is freezing witch forces me to press the home button and and close the app for it to work and my note 10+ didn't do this when I was on Android 9.what can I do?

I did a factory reset again couple days ago. Since then it's running incredible slow and buffers on everything. It started buffering and took 11 minutes to access Tumblr app. And super fast Mint browser and downloader now runs as slow as chrome and Firefox apps. Started buffering again so I did a restart and Boom! Says do you want to back up data,or start phone like brand new.
