My Huawei with Android 5.1 has an icon for contacts, which if tapped, displays a dozen entries. I want to run a phone/PC program called Pushbullet, which allows me to type SMS text on the PC, that gets sent (and received) via the phone. On the desktop, Pushbullet prompts contacts which are exclusively Vodafone 'official' numbers, like for call-back etc. So obviously, it is NOT accessing the list of entries that display in Contacts. I assumed that it is getting the Vodafone numbers from the SIM card and that the SIM has none of MY contacts on it. So I looked into Import/Export where 'Copy Contacts From' offers for four categories : Vodafone; Gmail; Phone Contact and Phone Storage. But when I try to do any transfers, all four categories are empty. I need help.

I followed an online tip on how to create dark theme on the S5 a few days ago. I never follow such tips unless they come from a trusted source. My first thought it came for Komando.com but I can't find the tip on her website.

The dark theme is not what I hoped for because some images are presented as negatives, almost all icons are different colors now and titles on icons are impossible to read.

I would like to restore the display without have to do a full reset.

Is anybody familiar with the tip and knows how to restore the display to normal? I tried changing the colors in settings for Wallpaper-> Home Screen and Lockout Screen but was unable to re-reverse the display.

I've been unhappy with DB for awhile, for several reasons, and am thinking about dumping it for some other service. Can anyone recommend anything?

My requirements are basically:

- must have a native Linux app, but also be workable via web browser and Android app

- must allow selective syncing of directories

- must not require reconfiguring my directory structure (DB requires having a Dropbox directory, in which all your directories/sub-directories to be synced must live--this doesn't work for me. I'm very rigid. I've used the same filesystem structure for decades and have many bash scripts that reference them. I will not modify all those scripts!)

- I don't need more than 1TB of storage

- must be a well-known, reputable company

Has anyone with a Pixel 4 got Ford Sync (2) with My Ford Touch (8" touch screen) working with text messaging? I just switched from an HTC 10 and I no longer get notifications or able to listen to texts in my car. Google says the phone should work, and Ford says they haven't tested but suggested performing a factory reset on the phone.

I don't want to go through the hassle of a factory reset on a phone I just set up and configured if it's not going to help.

Does anyone on AF know anything about Bahais?

does anyone have the software that lets you download messages from the zte n861 warp sequent phone to the windows pc? or at least know where I can download it.

for whatever reason, zte removed the software from their website. so I can't download it. it broken links. however, recently, I checked again, this time I could find any trace of those phones for Boost Mobile.

I'm having connection problems with the phone; connection problems includes the wi-fi router as well. so, I think it has the diagnostic feature that can tell me what's going on with the phone.

I have a ZTE Max n9560 Android phone. Had SD card go corrupted, since then storage problems. Using SD card for portable storage,still storage issues. The fact that we download APK files from many sources but have no idea in telling whether it's origin or not, was pretty risky. Some problems related could mention like security or unnecessary app installation.

Anyway, I just got a new SIM and wanted to import from phone to SIM when Im presented with see screen.
Seems somewhere along the updates this function was broken, or did I miss something? Im not able to press anything else but "Cancel", which naturally does nothing and copies nothing. Does anyone else have this problem? Tried both copying all at once, and just a single, none worked.

Using Broadsoft UC-One softphone on Android K9 (Android Version 7.1.2) and certain dial sequences e.g. 000 (emergency number in Australia) comes up with error splash "this feature is not supported on your device". Has anyone seen this error before? Any ideas what the cause could be?

I downloaded apk file. I followed the instruction because they basically just said " tap to download". I downloaded the file but when I follow the next step to open the file. It displays "can't open the file". I tried on both PC and Android, but the same error came up.

My company is a technology company which helps low-dated users especially to users who are having problem with hardware of Android to have better experience with various applications. We all knew about the fact that low-dated device may be unaccessible to some applications.
But we are start-up company, we have bunch of articles to instruct user, but unfortunately to really get to the user, we have to meet Google requirements, one of those requires a credit name after every articles.

We are novices, our name means nothing. So we're intended to looking for a journalist or anyone who attains great reputation in technology to be named after our articles, of course, any articles named after him/her will be placed under her/him surveillance. We're still confused a lot

Sdk manager and Gradle do not display any installed Package in Android studio but in actual I've many packaged already installed under sdk.

Please help me fixing this. I've done enough search on google but my hard luck no solution till now.
