My phone keeps telling me I'm low on space. In 'my files' there is a sub file called APKS that shows the same ap several time eg. Messenger x 8 taking aprox 37mb each. Facebook x 6 taking aprox 52mb each. They each have different dates. Are each of them essential updates?
Can I delete any of them to free up space?

I just received mine for my P4XL and I was, again, frustrated. It's worse than the fabric cases for 3XL which is loose and gives a wobbly feel but at least it does not feel like the case will release the phone out unlike the one for P4XL which has more loose grip on the phone which gives the slightest movement of the phone and the case.

So i recently tried installing twrp custom recovery via odin on a samsung galaxy grand prime (SM-G530P) and it said successful but when i tried loading into twrp recovery right after the flash it was like a loop and yellow text would appear in the top left "Recovery" but after i booted up my phone and turned it off and tried again it just lead me to the stock recovery and i need the twrp recovery installed asap please someone help!!!

My stories are showing up. I can still access my groups & friend by typing in the name only & also accept friend request. Any reason why this is happening & how can this be rectified?

My first posting to this forum. I am not a heavy techy and try to minimize apps loaded on my phone. The most recent update to my LG G6 phone changed my ability to connect to my PC. When I plug the USB cable into my laptop, I no longer obtain a prompt on the phone to share files, but rather nothing. The file manager (on PC) shows the phone is there, but nothing in it. I can no longer transfer photos/music from/to the phone.
So LG now has an app for my computer called LG PC Suite that makes file transfers easier. I would not call this easier because transfers were really easy before this change. The PC suite app install requires me to close all programs and reboot my computer, which is not only inconvenient, but slightly disturbing. I'm not a conspiracy theory person, but am suspect of LG wanting to monitor what I am transferring.

My question to this forum is how to bypass this silly software and transfer files like before. I use an Android phone because I like some control over files, folders, and content.

I have a tablet used to car diagnostics and is running android KitKat. I was looking for the play store and found it wasn't installed on the tablet. I went onto apkmirror and downloaded the latest version of the play store but when I try to open it, it kicks me out. could there be something installed on the tablet to kick me out of the play store?

I have an Android 6 - level 23 application running on mobile devices that both concurrently advertises and scans BLE connectionless packets.

ISSUE:

I find that when I call stopAdvertising(), the continuous running BLE scan operation is halted or stops working for 1-4 seconds, before resuming again. I know this because I can readily see the continually received ad packets every 0.10 second are not received for 1-4 seconds. This implies the scan operation is halted or stopped when the advertise operation is programmatically stopped.

How can I periodically start and stop BLE advertising without adversely messing up the BLE scanning operation?

I tried developing my application using different Android version APIs with the same annoying scan halt problem:
Android 6 - level 23
Android 8 level 26

Hey everyone. I did a search but did not find what i was looking for. I just got a note 10 and realized it has no headphone jack. Up until now, I would drive in my work truck, phone plugged into a charger and the headphone jack for music. I can no longer do that. I know that there are adapters for the jack but then i cannot charge at the same time. I have tried the bluetooth transmitters that work through the radio but those are unusable to me due to the audio quality. I have seen the BT transmitters that plug into the 3.5mm on the vehicles. Has anyone had any luck with those? Any other suggestions? My last resort is buying some sort of BT speaker and carrying it around in the truck.

Hi. My phone has been repaired a few times but recently, I've been unable to power the phone on (the power button and volume button are badly damaged). How do I power the phone on otherwise? The phone still charges and loads up the oneplus screen before the "battery" charge screen. I've tried plugging it into a PC Laptop and the phone loads up the battery screen and the oneplus screen.

brand new Nokia 7.1, its a beast but so far one big problem..can't send or receive pics or gifs of any type. it says message app (google message I guess?) anyway need to find out secret button to make it work cause I have two buddies where we speak thru gifs and pics (yes I'm a nerd). While helping my mother move out her V20 stopped working with no apparent warning. The screen just turned black, and now the device will not start. Occasionally (after long enough for the battery to die or a boot to fail?) holding the power button will cause it to vibrate. The screen will briefly backlight to 'light black' every five inputs or so, with no apparent pattern.

This was all over a week ago and she's since replaced the phone, but I'm still trying to recover the data. It was all stored on the internal memory. The phone isn't detected when connected to a number of different Windows and one Mac device via USB, no matter what buttons are pressed or if the fingerprint scanner is used as if it was booting normally 'behind' the black screen.

This is what's been tried so far:
-Boot into recovery mode (power+volume down), no apparent change.
-Removing battery and rebooting, no change.
-Removing battery and holding power button for 60+ seconds before returning battery and rebooting, no change.
-Charging for 24+ hours, no change.
-Battery switched for one from my own phone. No change.
-Screen replaced. Issue presented exactly the same afterwards, original screen reconnected.

Can anyone think of any other ideas to get at the data? From the looks of the motherboard the internal flash memory isn't removable, but I'm open to other ideas. The phone does not have to survive the process. I have another V20 available for parts swapping but it's my own main device and so I have to end up with at least one functioning V20 worth of components.

Apple decided that several development environments were a security risk and dumped them into "previously relocated files" during the Catalina update.

This of course broke Android Studio, which is hounding me for the location of the SDK when I start it.

I have numerous SDKs installed, but can't find them. Or rather, I can't determine what actually counts as an SDK, in terms of what Studio is looking for.

So I've been having this problem recently that I never used to have. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy j7 refine and is rooted with magisk. My old note 5 was rooted with magisk aswell and I never had any problems, I've been having slight problems with magisk on this phone ever since I rooted it and I don't know if this issue is because of that or some other thing. My SD card seems to not be able to write things to the card, it will work for a while after I boot my phone up or if I unmount and mount the SD card again but after a while I'm unable to move files from the SD card or make new ones on the card but I can see the files just fine even on Instagram or Snapchat. I've tried every possible way I've found on the internet to try to fix it but nothing works so I'm posting here for help, thank you in advance.
