HTC Desire stuck in a bootlop

I joined this site specifically because while searching for a solution, I discovered this thread
https://androidforums.com/threads/htc-desire-610-bootloop-unrooted.1058186/
I am having an identical problem to that user. Every fix, every stumble, it's exactly the same.

I woke up one night and my phone was booting up while charging. I thought it strange. Since then, it's been caught in an eternal boot-loop. And everything that's happened to me is the same as in that thread (only, it seems no solution there was found). I'll put in here as many specific details as I can, but for anybody that can help I also implore them to read that thread because it really covers ALL of the things I've tried that have failed. It's a complete 1:1

The phone turns on, loads up for a few moments, but before anything has sufficiently started up, it immediately reboots. And it will just keep doing that over and over again until I physically pull the battery out.

Generally I get a few moments of time when it loads up. It will never let me manually shut down/restart/run safe mode. That menu wont open when I press down on the power button now. I can move my apps around, open some of them for a few seconds, even uninstall one in the short window of time before it resets itself, but everything ultimately ends up back where it was on the next load-up. It would also seem that the app I choose to open will determine how quickly it chooses to restart.

If I leave it off and plug in the charager, it will charge up fully. Then if I were to turn it on and let it do its bootloop, it'll do that for hours or until the battery overheats. Plus occasionally before the phone reboots, it gives me a crash error on some random app before shutting itself off.

At the very least I'd like to know what program would read my SMS backup files from HTC. Because it sure as hell wouldn't work on any web browser or in a Samsung.

Two SIM card slots but shw three carrier names

Okay, here is the problem..Actually I noticed this recently, that also accidentally as it did not give any trouble to me. However, it's a Samsung A 10 and supports dual SIMs and both SIM slots are occupied by two different carriers. When I drag the notification bar down, the device shows three carrier names on the screen and the third carrier is not even exist. I have not to given any nickname for my Sims and SIM 1 and SIM 2 default names are shown when checking the settings. I am really wondered, my device shows three carriers and one of them does not even exist..and wired thing is this is a dual sim device.

Phone stolen abroad

Hey, apologies if this has been covered but I am in a tight spot. We are traveling abroad and my wife's galaxy s7 edge phone was stolen. It was on airplane mode, and the only wifi network it was connected to was our hotel wifi. It was also password protected. So far (8 hours or so) it has not reconnected to any networks. We are trying to wipe the data but obviously cant do that unless it connects to a network. Questions: what can we do? I had verizon disable the IMEI so the phone cannot be used in the future, but also had them leave the service open so in case it reconnects the data will be wiped clean. Any other suggestions? Will the thieves be able to open the phone or reuse it? So frustrated to have this happen so far from home. Thanks for any help!

GTA San Andreas Android and GLTools from the noob perspective

I'm thisclose to finally having Cleo (the 7.0 version by Skull) running perfectly. Only a few minor mods, mainly cinematic camera and working gas stations, tons of modded-in cars. I'm not sure if the crashing is just Cleo itself or one of the modded cars (I've begun to go in and replace the bigger file cars with smaller files, not sure if this will help, as previously I just added cars with no regard to file size and some of them are quite shiny and detailed, if that matters).

GLTools tells me I need to choose a tex plugin in order for it to work, and I'm completely lost here. I simply want to access the ability to set custom settings and do the fake CPU thing. Where would I find the tex plugin? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Android Bot to enter text in textfield of a website

Hi, I am trying to write a bot for my Android smartphone. The bot shall open a certain website and find the
textfields on that website fill in text and click a button.
So far, the App I wrote opens the desired website. Is it pssible at all in Android, like in Javascript, to find a texfield in the website und enter some text?
Or is it impossible to write an app, that can do that?
With what language can I achieve that?

Downloading to Flash vs. running out of battery

I recently bought a Sandisk Duo Flash Drive that I thought would be a great idea for downloading photos from my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) and avoid all the wires necessary to download to my tablet/computer (Surface Pro 4).

Although not at 100% when I started, I didn't realize what would soon happen: the downloads and battery life were both coming down to the wire. When I began, I didn't see an option other than selecting the entire DCIM folder for download, and as I watched and waited, it eventually reached 100% download with only 1% battery life left.

Not knowing at this point if I needed to do anything else, and with only 1% power left, I powered down. I removed the drive (since this was also the port with which I charge my phone) and plugged it in. Upon restarting, my entire DCIM folder was missing (I have seen various suggestions as to how to get them back, and since they DID show up on the flash drive, it's not really a big deal). But is there a way to ensure this does NOT happen again, as I don't really want to have to reload photos (and going through several thousand to do so as well).

Headphone reccomendations?

Hey! First time user here! For black Friday or my birthday, id like to ask my parents for some headphones. I'm not sure which though. I listen to rap a lot, so bass is important. Type c charging would be nice. Good ANC is something of a necessity for me, due to he fact it can get loud on the bus or at school. I'd also like for them to he over ear or in ear, not on ear, as I have glasses. And finally, budget. $250 would probably be the most I would go to, but $200 and below is reasonable. Thanks for the help guys!

Am I the only one who finds this hilarious?

I was in the Verizon store, today. There was a huge 5G sign right in the middle of the store. I asked the woman if there was 5G in that area of New Jersey, yet. She said there wasn't. She said that it's only in selected cities. Of course I knew that. My thought was why advertise something that won't be relevant for possibly a year or so? I don't know. I thought it was funny and left. Why hype something you can't sell?

Gboard issue

I have always used Gboard. I recently upgraded to the note 10 and now Gboard is constantly inputting the last word I type into a new field when filling out information. For instance, if I'm shopping online and I'm filling out the payment or shipping page. I type my first name and when I move into the next field to type my last name, my first name is copied over. And then when I move into the address (after deleting the first name from the last name field and correctly young my last name) it copies my last name into the 1st line of the address field. This is rather annoying. I was filling out a job application earlier and it did those over and over. I can't find anything in the settings that would turn this off. It's not predicting the word. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I don't want to have to switch back to Samsung keyboard.
