When i look at the Recents list in the Phone app I can see that some are marked as spam and/or blocked but a number of them are not. How can I mark a call as spam or blocked in my Recents list ? If I choose a recent call the only choices that I see, beside the phone icon for calling back, are "Add contact:, "Message", and "History". Surely I should be allowed to mark a recent call as spam or as a number which should be blocked.

Thought I'd give this its own thread, in case any windows or Mac folks happen by. Let them have a [partial] glimpse of what they're missing by not using Linux on their computers. They're using it on their phones and tablets, though they may not realize it.

I say 'partial glimpse' because this article focuses on its aesthetics, not Linux's superior, more powerful, under the hood stuff, or the freedom that comes with using it. But that's okay! Nothing wrong with admiring something beautiful, in this case, Deepin. The author oozes enthusiasm:

As for me, the die-hard Kubuntu user? Sure, I'll give it a try! Why not? I've tried many distros--both before and after settling on Kubuntu.

Anyone else having issues with the fingerprint sensor working only half the time? Mine stops 3 or 4 times a day, and rebooting the phone doesnt help. It only works when it wants.

Is it possible to move the Dock to the top of the screen?
I'm using CPL for my launcher (extremely pleased btw, highly recommend it) but the feature isn't included in his launcher and I got to wondering if Google hasn't made it available anywhere -- natively or in an app (?). I appreciate any help or app suggestions.

I have old email addresses that are no longer valid and that have been deleted in the contacts. But when I try to send a new email, they still appear so I have to check to be sure I don't select an old account.

When I Google a solution, I'm told to delete the account from the contact, but the old account doesn't appear there.

I know there has to be a solution.

My Galaxy S7 continually flickers. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

My Samsung Tab A is stuck in recovery mode. Selecting the reboot system now option just gets it stuck in a boot loop and i can't get past the logos so I have to go back to recovery mode. I tried wiping the cache, doing a factory reset, and mounting the system and those did nothing. I haven't tired applying update from adb, and applying update from SD card as I'm not sure how to do it. I tried connecting my tablet to my windows 7 laptop but it won't connect unless I select the "apply update from adb" option. I'm not sure what to do.

I'm taking my MotoZ3 to Thailand and Cambodia. Does anyone know if I need a sim card for Google maps to work there, or will the phone work as long as I pay Verizon for overseas service? Some websites suggest getting a sim card and my travel agent says you can get them at the airport. Do I need one? Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to make an application which actually works pretty well in Android less 26 but after 26 means Android Oreo or more the OS just kill my background service i have tried to done this job with JobSheduler , Foreground Services , AlarmManager but nothing seems to be working fine i want some thing that never ends because i am making a application which is kind of GPS application which will be sending the location after every 5 minutes please help.

FlickADrink is going to be a collection of western minigames with pixel graphics.

V0.2 contains:

• Bartending game, where you swipe/flick drinks to customers based on what they order. They might get all rowdy and fighty, if you're too slow, or screw up the order. Fighting customers have to be tapped out, before they reach the counter and start fighting. The saloon is dirty and empty in the beginning and it's your job to buy furniture, tables (passive income), decorations and service upgrade, which affect the gameplay.
• A train is leaving the station and some cargo is still sitting on the pier. Swipe them on the train before it leaves the station and earn some extra cash.
• Town map where the locations are minigames. Currently contains saloon, general store and railway station.
• Google scoreboard for the saloon minigame.
• Several Google achievement.

Android version of the ON App does not enable users to stream phone calls or audio directly from Android phones. Why this technology is not yet available on Android phones?

Instead of photos, my wife's phone now sends me Google Drive links. Knowing my wife's sophistication about these things, I'm sure she didn't set something intentionally; I can't imagine what she might have set inadvertently. But when she takes photos on the phone and sends them to me, I don't get the photos directly; I get a Google Drive link. She has a moto e5 play.

Saw a post from Jeam in 2016 where I'm thinking "Did I post this?"

Our home became WiFi-free earlier this year and during our final remodel (of 3) we had Ethernet pulled to every room. She uses Apple and has been hooked up since June. I still haven't found out how to connect my Samsung Galaxy 7 (Device name: Samsung-SM-G930A).

ANYONE KNOW how to enable Ethernet as the signal source? And what hardware (dongle) is needed?
