Help Not getting Venmo alerts

I'm not receiving notifications from Venmo, despite having done all the things I would advise someone else to do. :)

As you can see, everything's set correctly:

I -do- receive email notifications; my email settings are identical to the above.

This started on my previous phone, Moto X 2nd Generation. At one point, it just stopped working.

It has never worked on my new phone (actually two--I got a replacement for the first one), Moto Z² Force Edition. The first Z² shipped with Nougat and I updated to Oreo; the replacement shipped with Oreo (8.0.0).

For the record: I've done everything up to and including deleting its cache and data prior to uninstalling/reinstalling...all to no avail. :(

One of my Favorite shows is Expedition Unknown, i saw a good one last night about a guy Byron Preiss who started a big treasure hunt where he buried 12 treasure boxes in parks around America about 40 years or so ago and only 2 of them have ever been found.......... i'm ordering the book off Amazon. I love treasure hunts and this seems like one of the biggest ones, the show is hosted by Josh Gates.... I was curious if anyone else has heard about this ?

Help Getting Motorola Maxx HD 926 on Tmobile

Hello guys, first time posting here but I'm really struggling so I'm not sure where else to turn. I currently have T-Mobile for service and my dad destroyed his old smartphone so I purchased a moto droid maxx hd xt926, got a sim converter, and tried to activate it on our service after reading that it was possible online. I know that the phone is locked to Verizon and needs to be unlocked via cdma workshop or radiocomm but I am having zero luck doing so. I can't find either of the apps that are needed to download anywhere and seeing as the phone/situation is an older one, it is tough to find anyone who is currently dealing with the problem. I would sincerely appreciate any help at all. I have no other options for a phone for him at the moment, and I have been going through a lot personally lately, so figuring out a solution to this problem would be a huge stress relief. My focus still doesnt focus every time when I am taking pics. Really dont want to bring it back to att as I guarantee it won't do it in store. That always happens with things. Would a factory reset you think fix issue. I've done all steps that they tell you to do when this happens

Post bottom menu AND top menu listener issues

Hello all,

I am new to the android studio world, and I'm excited to be learning.

I've been able to get the BOTTOM NAV template working fine, but I was in need of a TOP NAV as well. I am only able to get one or the other to listen together properly.

The project is still pretty simple, since I've only been concentrating on the navigation aspects so far.

If anyone could take a look at the project here and help me fix, or fix it, it would be very helpful.

I've attached the export of the project. Let me know if this does not contain everything needed to look at how things are.

I am also hoping to establish a consulting arrangement with someone that is versed in studio.

I have samsung galaxy s6,i have deleted photos (went to the photo gallery i select a photos and deleted),docs and everything approximately 1 year ago and i gave a phone to my friend .... after 1 year exactly yesterday my friend did a factory reset ...is there any chance to recover photos and docs which i deleted 1 year ago?Thanks ! and also phone is without SD card ,and no clouds.

I'm trying to build a hello world app with tabs.
The problem I'm encountering now is that I get some errors, using adapter on ViewPager2.
I updated from ViewPager to ViewPager2.

Here's the code:

VideoView

apologies, I initially posted this under "APPS & GAMES", I am now reproducing the question here...

I find that on some phones my VideoView says it is unable to play videos. Reading up on this issue, some people suggest changing the format to the older 3gp. However, on phones that used to play the mp4's, it only plays the audio on this 3gp format now (mine being one of them, a Samsung J5)

The strange thing is that I have these videos on a web server, and those phones that can't play the mp4 in the VideoView/app, if they navigate to the link/URL through the Chrome browser on their phone, they are able to click the link and the video plays fine.

Can someone suggest what I might try please, or what the problem might be?
Note that I have tried installing VLC app already and making it the default, however it still uses the default video player in the app/videoview.

Root Samsung Galaxy Tab a sm-t590 android 9 root help

Is it possible to root Samsung galaxy tab A 10.5 sm-T590 android 9, the same as the tab s4 via ODIN? seems odd that they run on the same OS but root differently?

I desperately want to root my tablet but If it's not done by Odin then I'm not confident as there is no video tutorials that are in depth

I have dyslexia so I'm depth (holding hand) video tutorials help compared to the reading aspect

Can anyone shed some clarity on this?

I have created a project in Eclipse (Java) with SQLite db.
After that Eclipse project successfully imported in Android Studio but unable to work with SQlite db. Following error displayed all the time:

Class Not Found java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.sqlite.JDBC.Driver
java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:sqlite:C:/sqlite/sqlite/db/Student.db

Can anyone help me regarding this?

ODIN MODE initial values

Hello. I’m new in your forum and would like to ask an expert/s on ODIN MODE for help. I have been denied warranty repair, they claim that the “ODIN MODE” screenshot they have taken as evidence that the device is rooted. I do not know what ODIN MODE is about but the messages on the evidence screenshot show that the device has never been rooted.

- lines 4 and 5 are in initialized state.

If the device was rooted, lines 4, 5, and 8 would have a different values.
Am I right or wrong on my assumption?
Is there other line/s on the evidence screenshot that proved the device is rooted?

UPDATE OR ADD APN

I'm on Verizon prepaid using Orbic Wonder, Android. I've been mostly without connection since I had to change device and number.
Almost positive it's outdated APN settings as it has happened to me before on another service (Boost).
Why can't I either update or completely add a new APN? There is a plus, I went through the add process and it won't save.

That feature is NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT

Now before you go ahead and give your opinion about this let me explain having no controller support is the best thing activision has done for Call of Duty in years.

Besides the micro transactions this game is very good, and when i say good, its because i hate call of duty with a passion and its not because of the game or developers.

It's the players thats not making it fun for casual player(s) out there...we cannot compare similararities between consoles and mobile version of COD but i can tell you why its better

1). No jitter modders (if you never played COD on console boy you havent endured the pain i have been through to try to give COD my attention, jitter modders are players who mod their controller to be setup as if they press a button the gun will shoot like a bunch of rapid missles coming at you leaving them feeling happy and you being pissed off this is a main reason why no controller support is a good thing on COD Mobile and people who use these mods are forced to play legit instead of cheating).

2). No unfair advantages (with a controller yu have more control of your game and if support was present in COD Mobile users will be OP and wouod ruin the game for everyone, since their is no controller support this means no one has a unfair advantage, unkess you buy weapons that aren't accessible without getting them in supply drops).

These are things that makes the gsme soo good at playing and to be honest as long as activision keeps it this way..ill be happy no matter how much stuff they put behind a pay wall!

LG Fiesta 2 LTE won't power off, in boot loop

My Tracfone LG Fiesta 2 won't power off normally, all I can do is let the battery run down. Battery is not removable, so removing battery fix is not applicable with this phone. I can get it to restart, but it gets stuck in a continuous boot loop. Holding power button and volume down simultaneously, then letting go of power only puts it back in a boot loop: 1st screen is LG logo, 2nd screen Tracfone logo (color slightly fades in and out which it never did before), 3rd screen says "Android is starting" with Android icon and progress gauge that starts out at 80% and takes about 5 minutes to get to 100%. Then it goes back to 1st screen and the same thing loops. While this keeps repeating, the phone feels warm, which it never did before.
I can't get to "Home", or "Settings", Recovery Mode or anywhere, so therefore can't do a factory reset or erase cache, or do anything. I have tried many suggested fixes online. I tried plugging USB cable into laptop hoping to at least be able to transfer pictures, music, etc, but phone is not recognized. Any help would really be appreciated.

[EXPERIMENTAL] TWRP Dirty Port for Moto E6

TWRP DIRTY PORT FOR RETUS SURFNA​

Since this has the same chipset as the E5 Plus, and since I found the stock firmware for this online, I figured I'd whip up a quick dirty port of TWRP for the Moto E6 for anyone that has it. I don't have an E6 myself yet, but I'm thinking I'll get one when my Moto G4 dies on me. This means I was obviously not able to test this recovery image myself, hence its EXPERIMENTAL status. Be cautious when flashing this on your device, and have a stock firmware backup handy!!!!!

INSTRUCTIONS

Before permanently flashing this to your device, just boot from it first to make sure it works with "fastboot boot [imagename].img". Only if you're absolutely sure it's functioning do I then recommend flashing it to the recovery slot.

I can't share anything since this wasn't built from source. I used Carliv Image Kitchen to extract the E6 recovery image and the E5 Plus official TWRP recovery image, then did the swapping of the kernels into the E5 extracted directory and rezipped it as an image file.

IP question

I have a new phone out the box 2 days and i ran IP blacklist checker and it was on 2 blacklists already, not had time to send anything out

my old cheap phone which I use for every site isn't on any

I thought a new phone with old sim is a new IP address?
I was told phone shouldnt have a static IP on phone network but never changes for me

why is it on barracuda blacklist already and my old 3 year old phone not?

Is it the sim or the phone which creates the IP address?
