Hi everyone, I have a question, I would like to pick your brains about something: I have the Note 8 and I am thinking about upgrading to the Note 10+, mainly for the screen real estate. I don't make a lot of calls, I don't really use the stylus a lot, I take pictures and videos, but not a lot. I do watch a lot, A LOT of movies and videos. I want to upgrade to the Note 10+ 512 GB. I want to get anybody's opinion. Is it worth getting the Note 10+, 512 GB? Will it perform better that the Note 8? If I trade it in, I will only get about $100 or $300 for it. I have T-Mobile. I believe they are having a promotion now. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I got a notification of a PDF being sent by someone - it was mostly in Russian, so I tapped it and then selected "remove" from the menu. However, from the display, it looked like it was continuing to download and other than closing Drive, nothing I did stopped it.

In case this happens again, is there any way I can stop the download in its tracks? Can I set it not to open PDFs unless I approve?

I'm currently in prison. We have JPay5 tablets that are locked and require being synced to the kiosk monthly. However, I have my own phone, Moto e5. Can I tether my phone to this tablet and add movies and other files. I know it can be done. I just don't know how. Can anybody help???

I'm working on getting my first app ready for the play store. It's telling me that items marked with an asterisk are required - and Feature Graphic is tagged that way.

But according to this article https://developer.android.com/distribute/best-practices/launch/feature-graphic the feature graphic does not appear to be mandatory.

Do I just ignore the asterisk? If it's required, what do you do for something that, frankly, doesn't really need one?

Can someone help me hide my Google mail app. I can't use a vault app. I am under scrutiny by the staff here at the center I'm a resident at and subject to an immediate inspection of our phones upon demand. We cannot have any form of lock,pin nor passcode. I am constantly deleting my email everytime I check it and when I am expecting email of a sensitive nature it doesn't always come right then. Therefore leaving a window of time where I could be run down on and asked for my device leaving me vunerable. Please help me.I am a bit behind in the times as far as tech is concerned due to my lengthy incarceration period which was primarily in solitary with no contemporary magazines to keep me abreast. My comprehension skills are fair enough so dont be scared to explain as you guide me

On my Google Pixel I have the option to toggle individual replies or group replies (MMS) with group text messaging, but it's kind of a pain to get to.
Are there any apps that text groups and automatically creates individual messages (so that everyone in the group isn't receiving 1000 text messages)? I feel like doing this in app would be much easier than going into "settings", then "advanced settings", then "group messages", etc. to change it (only to have to change it back later on!)

So currently I own a LG L70 D320n phone and I was wondering if it was possible to provide me with the unlocked bootloader file or a specific tutorial to get it done. I want to put a custom recovery (TWRP) and i also want to flash a custom Lineage OS (android 8.1). The device is currently rooted with KingRoot and busybox installed. Any tips appreciated

EDIT: I also have problems getting fastboot on, since there is no output if i type "fastboot devices".

Software version 1 July 19 update

Issue - certain devices will not work with bluetooth.

Process - item is paired via bluetooth but doesn't connect to app. Remove device to re-pair and the phone cannot connect to the device on subsequent retries.

Effected items - samsung gear vr controller, mgcool band 5 (brand new)


Samsung gear VR controller (bought a new one to replace), was then able re-bond the original which I thought was dead. It then worked for a while then dropped off and won't rebond.

Mgcool band 5 - bonded, wouldn't talk to the app. Removed from bluetooth then attempted to rebond and won't rebond (cannot connect to bluetooth device: even though it can see it).

Actions - I've cleared the bluetooth cache, restarted and nothing changed. I've even removed devices I don't use that often just in case there is a limit to how many devices I can have paired.

Using the Media Projection API to take the screen capture of the application and it was broke the pixel's taken from the ImageReader.We use 4K Video to play in the Exoplayer and we need to take the screenshot.

I have purchased apps and in app purchases before but now it wont work. Im signed in on my google play account and my internet connection is fine. Background Story: I have a 9yo niece. Who is really cute. She is been suffering from cancer for some time and I wanted to do something special for her. So, I bought a Mi pad 4 for her. One day I was lying and I had an idea in my mind of creating a app named "Adrianna" on which she will have her pictures. And this app will be sent to some relatives and friends.

What I want to create: Basically I want ,"when I open the app it will show a picture of Adrianna and under that her name then it will automatically go to next page where will be some folder. And when someone click on a folder it will open a new page which will show some pictures"

I will be adding folder to this app every week. Which will contain 7 pictures. So, should I create a react native app or something like a shopping app or something else?

I have been trying to root this device (for free) for awhile and have failed every time. Either every app either has a cost or it fails to root it. I tried iroot, towelroot, etc. I usually get a weird runaround with apps and their websites trying to actually download the apk file.

For example this site is the only site i could find regarding rooting this phone online.

However when i try to download the apk file it just sends me back to the main page.

Does anyone know why this site does not download the apk? Or is there another method to root this phone?

First of all I want to say thank you for your time reading this.
I'm new to (Android) Programming, been following the Beginner's Tutorial on Udacity and I love it so far.

I have this weird bug happening to me.
I've been working in the activity_main.xml file to ad an picture to my app through the ImageView options.
It's in a RelativeLayout, and I've been adding the picture succesfully to the drawable folder.

I then asign the picture to the ImageView through the [android:src="@drawable/androidparty2"] attribute.

So it al works well. I can build the project succesful, and can launch it succesful on my phone. But after I close the VirtualDevice, the afore mentioned picture dissapears from the 'Design-menu' and all of a sudden the tag "@drawable/androidparty2" turns red in the XML file. (But I've didn't changed any code before or after I build/launched it).

I hope I described it good enough for you guys to understand.
