Move White Noise Lite to sd

Yup, that's what I'm trying to do. I looked at it with My Files but the only option was delete. Application Manager didn't give that choice either. It's not a huge app but more than 70 mb and I'd rather have it on sd. Is this a job for X-plore or maybe Tasker? I've got the S5, a mostly good phone that discharges fairly fast, gets too hot sometimes, and lets the battery fall out too often.

Usb Drivers for Mac

Hi guys,
I am seeking usb drivers to connect my Samsung Tab A sm-t510 to my macbook. Please don't suggest the Samsung drivers they are for Windows only, and Kies/Smart Switch are just so much shite (constantly crashing). Are there any generic usb driver out there that would serve the purpose?
In anticipation

Cannot update

So I destroyed my stock rom, used xxmoons root guide. My phone is rooted and running, however I cannot system update, verification problem, nor update magisk without getting stuck in bootloop. Any gurus wanna take a crack at either problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Selection screens

I'm having one heck of a time trying to get selections screens to display properly in some apps. The screen only shows a slice of the window. I've tried adjusting resolution but it doesn't help. Has anyone run across this before?

An example app would be Kodi Configurator. All windows seem fine until you choose a build, at which point the attached screen is displayed. Quite frustrating.

Apps JNI issue, changes in c++ file not showing when running app

Hi, fairly new to android development here, but familiar with java.

Been trying to understand JNI as it offers extremely fast calculation over standard android/java.

The open source mandelbrot set app (uses JNI):
https://github.com/dbrant/mandelbrot-android

runs fine in android studio, [via simulator or through my pocophone]

When I make a tiny change to the jni/mandelbrot_wrap.c file, by changing
"drawing (%d)" to something different like "draw777ing (%d)", the change doesn't show in the output, it still says drawing (...)

Even when I make a fresh copy of the app, with a new name, and change the code using notepad, and then load it into android studio, it still outputs drawing (...)

I don't know what's going on, is the c++ file already compiled in the project somewhere, so that changes in the app are never reflected?

Please help if you can, thanks very much.

Help "choose an action" leads nowhere

Hey Bros,

It's been a while I'm having this problem, every app that uses this "choose an action" window to upload a file, like Google chrome in this site, ends up not doing anything

The usual pop-up window appears, but when I choose the app I want to open to choose a file (like gallery, camera or anything else) nothing happens.

Anyone knows a solution for this?

Help OnePlus 6T ADB Sideloading error

Hello everyone,
I am trying to install a custom ROM on my OnePlus 6T, as I currently have no OS installed. I tried ADB sideloading LineageOS through TWRP recovery, but it gives me an error: "* failed to read command:". I also tried using the ADB push command. But that did not work either, it gives me the error: "no such file or directory". My OnePlus 6T is rooted and has the bootloader unlocked. I also am in ADB Sideload mode in TWRP when I attempt the sideload if anyone was gonna ask.
Is it just a simple driver issue or what is going on?
I have trouble finding help online, so I hope you guys can help me find a solution.

Kind regards

[Linux] 18.04.3 gets linux kernel 5.0

The ubuntu family of distros finally gets the highly anticipated linux kernel 5.0. This new kernel brings performance improvements, bug fixes, and more hardware support. You also get an updated X.org and graphics drivers.

The 18.04.3 point release was released 2 days ago on Aug 8th.

I've been using the new kernel for an entire day now and does feel snappier though it can be a placebo effect. Also hard to discern running on a fast SSD.

Very Important:
If you installed iso 18.04 or 18.04.1 you will not get the new 5.0 kernel. If you installed 18.04.2 or 18.04.3 then you'll get the new kernel because these point releases have “hardware enablement” (HWE) enabled.

How to get the kernel if you installed iso 18.04 or 18.04.1:
Open your terminal and run the following command...
Bash:
sudo apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-18.04 xserver-xorg-hwe-18.04
Upon completion, you must reboot.

After rebooting open the terminal and confirm the 5.0 kernel is installed with the following command...
Bash:
uname -r
Enjoy kernel 5.0 and new X.org!

Many thanks to OMG! Ubuntu! for the tips and early coverage. You guys rock! ;)
