How do I set up a group so that when any individual in the group replies it is threaded into the group message.
Currently, replies only show in the individuals email address. They do not show in the group message.

I have an Honor 5X running Marshmallow 6.0.1. My new car, a 2019 Toyota Yaris, didn't come with a CD player so I got the (?) bright idea to upload music from my desktop computer (Windows 10) to my Honor 5X and play music through my Yaris' speakers.

That's not happening. No matter what cable I use (AUX or USB) to connect my Honor 5X to my car, no music from my Honor 5X comes out of my car's speakers. I know it's not the cables as I've tried three AUX cables and two USB cables. I know it's not the music app because I've tried four, and I can play music using all those apps (I've heard it).

Any ideas/suggestions? Although I've had the phone for two years, I don't use it for much more than answering calls and keeping track of my mother's medical appointments, so please assume I'm a stupid user and kinda talk down to me with any suggestions you may have.

Hey, so i'm looking for ways to use a photoshop action that i made and make my own app for those actions so that users can convert their images using my photoshop actions.

How can i do this? Where do i start and what should i lookout for.

I want to be able to use ok google even when the phone is locked and sitting on the table. I can use it from lock screen if i press the power button to light up the screen. But if the screen is black and the phone is locked then I can't use it. How do I make it possible to use ok google without touching my locked phone?

There's a problem with playing videos is YouTube app and on chrome youtube website. Some videos playing ok and normally with all resolutions, but the most of them plays, glitched.
I ve done all resets with the device, normal reset, hard reset. I ve installed another file of installation of android (version 8.0) from Odin, and the problem wasn't solved.
Recently I realized that's should be a problem with some native codecs H264 of android, because I ve installed Mozilla Firefox and put the H264fy codec at Add-ons and Youtube is working normally on this browser, I tested playing with VLC player and works fine too.
I would like to know, about the folder that contains the native codecs of android and how to replace them, or if I need make Root on my S7 to access it??

i got an ethernet dongle and when i connect it to my phone or tablets the speed test is way slower. on my lg k20 it goes from 15 mbps wifi to 4 mbps ethernet dongle. on my tablets using ookla it goes from 12 mbps wifi to 5 mbps ethernet dongle. i got the dongle from ebay so is that my issue it is not a goo dongle? it does not have a need for outside power seems to get it from either the device or the network. when i plug it into the phone i don't see the flashing internal light flickering but if i connect the lan cable the light will flicker. i did a few youtubes researching this and none of them had power going to the dongle they plugged them into the phone or tablets and they claim faster speed with the dongle. so what might i be doing wrong if anything. i figure the tablets may be to old they had 4.4 and 5.1 but my phone is 8.0 i heard 6.0 was the point for this but was hoping the tables may just work. but the phone should work. thanks

Have LG V20 (US996) rooted using Magisk. TWRP installed and working. Plus of course, BL unlocked.

However, some programs (for example a boot animation changer) runs but never asks for su permission. However, root checkers say the phone is indeed rooted.

And of course, then does not change the boot animation.

Thoughts/ideas/suggestions??

There are a few questions related to each other and I couldn't type it out in the title.

Do Android phones and emulators have su folder by default? From what I have seen, Android Studio emulator has the su folder but not my Xiaomi actual phone. I am asking this is because I am trying to implement the root detection feature to an app and I have downloaded the Root Check Basic app to play around with.

I am trying out the Rootbeer library and it says my emulator is rooted because there is a su folder in it but Root Check Basic says it is not rooted. Are there any manufacturer out there included su folder in Android phones?

I'm using Motorola Droid Turbo and when i open play store for downloading apps it does not shows the icons of apps that are installed and that are on store for download but it only happens when i'm on Wi-fi but when i'm using mobile data it works fine all icons are displayed.And when i use Vpn on Wi-fi it displays icons.Recently i have switched to new ISP after that it started to happen on all mobile phones in my house.

I've heard people saying that the reason they prefer Apple phones IOS because they are very secure as compared to Android. IOS does not allow app owner the access to user data on the phone and android does.

Some weeks ago I found that some of my contacts have new birthday dates that I did not register. This new dates are from other contacts. For example:

Contact 1 have an "X" birthday date (true one) and now has also a "Y" date that is wrong
Contact 2 have an "Y" birthday date (true one) and now has also a "X" date that is wrong

When opening the contact in my mobile, can see both dates, but when trying to edit the contact to erase the wrong date, only appears the correct date. The wrong date does not show and can not erase it

When opening the same contact in the Google web, can see only the correct date.

I just setup Codetyphon to create android apps. It compiled a simple app correctly and I moved it to my phone. When I went to the app, there wasn't any way I could find to execute it. Right clicking wanted to open it with a text browser. From what I have read, android will not allow you to execute your own apps. Is there some way I can execute my own apps, possibly through some kind of an android emulator?

Hello all,

Our company created a hardware device that runs AOSP 5.02 with some minor modifications.
It isn't feasible for us to get our device/Android ROM Google Play certified.

Is it legal or within Googles licensing terms to side-load a version of GBoard onto our devices?

Note: I tried to contact Google directly, but of course I wasn't able to reach a human or find the correct magical email address. :-(
