Hi, I have a Sprint SM-G973U that is locked to an account on sprint.
I wanted to flash it with an unlocked U1, assuming this will let me use it with my verizon sim.
When i try to flash the G973U1_SAU_1 file, I get this error

Any advice on how to fix this?

My previous phone was an HTC 10. It had the best earphone sound of any phone I've ever owned. Even a little better than our LG V40. Background Story: I have a 9yo niece. Who is really cute. She is been suffering from cancer for some time and I wanted to do something special for her. So, I bought a Mi pad 4 for her. One day I was lying and I had an idea in my mind of creating a app named "Adrianna" on which she will have her pictures. And this app will be sent to some relatives and friends.

What I want to create: Basically I want ,"when I open the app it will show a picture of Adrianna and under that her name then it will automatically go to next page where will be some folder. And when someone click on a folder it will open a new page which will show some pictures"

I will be adding folder to this app every week. Which will contain 7 pictures. So, should I create a react native app or something like a shopping app or something else?

Your help will be appreciated a lot. I will create a page called "Love From" in which I will include names of all the people who will help me in this project. Thanks in advance. Will keep you updated.

I have been trying to root this device (for free) for awhile and have failed every time. Either every app either has a cost or it fails to root it. I tried iroot, towelroot, etc. I usually get a weird runaround with apps and their websites trying to actually download the apk file.

For example this site is the only site i could find regarding rooting this phone online.

However when i try to download the apk file it just sends me back to the main page.

Does anyone know why this site does not download the apk? Or is there another method to root this phone?

Hi there lovely people,

First of all I want to say thank you for your time reading this.
I'm new to (Android) Programming, been following the Beginner's Tutorial on Udacity and I love it so far.

I have this weird bug happening to me.
I've been working in the activity_main.xml file to ad an picture to my app through the ImageView options.
It's in a RelativeLayout, and I've been adding the picture succesfully to the drawable folder.

I then asign the picture to the ImageView through the [android:src="@drawable/androidparty2"] attribute.

So it al works well. I can build the project succesful, and can launch it succesful on my phone. But after I close the VirtualDevice, the afore mentioned picture dissapears from the 'Design-menu' and all of a sudden the tag "@drawable/androidparty2" turns red in the XML file. (But I've didn't changed any code before or after I build/launched it).

I hope I described it good enough for you guys to understand.

I know this is the "Note 10" sub, but a thought struck me this morning when reading another posters connects regarding the N10 and people wanting the S Own in a smaller package.

When it debuted, I always wanted the SPen, but not the size of the Note (things have changed for me, currently have an S7 Edge and getting the N10+ - but some will still want the smaller package, and it does feel better in the have).

I don't see Sammy going down this route, but what if they were to combine the S and Note ranges together to form 1 flagship range?

Currently we have (not including 5g variants) the S10, S10+, S10e, N10, & N10+

For next year, they could offer the S11 - compatible to the current S10e, possibly with S Pen support, but no pen bundled.

The S11 Memo - replacing the S10/N10, bundled with an S Pen.

Then the S11 Note - replacing the S10+/N10+ as the largest all singing all dancing device.

Can't believe that I've finally got around to checking a support forum.
How can I switch off the default text app behaviour where a previous thread (even if has been archived) is automatically appended to a new text (unrelated subject) to the same recipient?
For example, I may have archived a text with details of a future social engagement with numerous with numerous 'bubbles'. I then want to text this person with a simple question but get the lengthy unrelated thread appended before I can start typing.
I have obviously spent hours going through the settings options &amp; in-app pop-downs.

When you were a kid ? Mine was Kaboom.

Is LG Stylo 4 compatible with 5g? We just changed our internet provider and I do not see 5g as an option to connect but I thought it was an option with the provider we just left.

Not sure what other information is pertinent regarding the phone.

Basically, about 3 weeks ago, my phone started to misbehave in several regards. The most annoying is the fact:
1. New text messages no longer notify me in ANY way:
1. They no longer play any sound.
2. The text message icon on the notification tray does not appear.
3. The text message icon on the Always On Display(which is really the Sometimes On Display) does not show.

What is interesting is under:
1. Messaging
2. Notifications
3. Settings
4. CATEGORIES
I have 2 new categories. As is typical I have
1. Emergency Alerts(off)
2. General Notifications, Sound and Pop Up(ON)
3. New Messages, Sound and Pop Up(ON)
and then I have 2 nontypical:
4. Joe Smith(one of my Contacts)
5. Fred Jones(a second Contact)

I have no idea how Joe and Fred became a category. I certainly didn't make them a category. And, I have no idea how to remove them from the CATEGORY. Pressing and holding on them does nothing, and there does not appear to be any link in the CONTACT app.

I have tried everything but a factory reset of my phone because I know I will lose contact and calendar data due to the crappy Android backup software. I tried to delete the messaging software, but it won't let me delete it and then reinstall it.

I've been watching the old TV show, Leave it to Beaver, in its entirety thanks to MeTV. Today's episode made my heart jump! That was when I spotted this:



It's a Triumph TR3--and I used to have one.

Years ago, we came across a beautiful 1958 TR3 for sale; we had NO BUSINESS whatsoever buying it, but I wanted it, damn it! Finances be damned!

Well, long story short, we didn't keep it.

There was no way to justify the money, not just buying it but restoring it to its rightful glory. It was sound mechanically, and had no body damage other than some minor rust spots. The interior was fine, but the whole car really just needed professional restoration, and that was WAY beyond our means at the time.

It was a 4-speed stick that *purred* like a kitten. Driving it was almost too much fun. Top down, hair blowing in the wind, our daughter squealing with joy...and my lead foot trying to behave itself.

Ah, good memories, even though we didn't get to keep it. I see some nicely-restored ones going for ≈$45,000 nowadays....

Howdy, trying to upgrade to Oreo and everything I've read says that a regular OTA update will do it. Tried a check for updates a number of times and nothing. I'm on verizon. Is there something I can download onto computer to the v30+? TIA
