It appears on a recent update of android you can no longer allow apps through the do not disturb setting.

I can still allow events and reminders but it does not recognise apps like To-Do as reminders and so these are blocked.

Have the really stopped this feature? It seems a step backwards...

My friend has his photos synced to google. He wants to know how to shut that off temporarily. How can he take a few photos without having them show up on Google and then put it back the other way?

I've phad a jetstream box for about 2 months and it was working well. It just developed an issue with attached storage where the storage is 0 misc and then whatever extra space saying accessible or available but that space cannot be accessed. This has happened to with a 400gb sandisk microsd, a sandisk 124gb usb stick and a generic 500gb usb drive. It seems to set up the drives like they are partitioned. They show 0 misc space then whatever. I have tried various reformats and windows partition tools. Is this normal. Is the box infected or defective? Thanks in advance

How can debug be organized so that the logs are saved somewhere and can be obtained later?

How can an android application access the file system and write logs there?
Is there any network monitor for android?

Option with ADB is not suitable.
The debug process must be managed directly on the device.

Is there any way to close open app, when I am locking the screen?

For anyone, which will ask why I would like to do this I will describe my use case:

I am playing my game (it work's in horizontal screen and opening it is costfull - takes time). When I am stopping playing I am used to just lock the screen. Now, when I unlocking or what worse someone is trying to call me my phone tries to open last working app, what sometimes making my phone totally stuck for a while and I am even not able to answer the call.

(I am using samsung galaxy j5 2017).

Thanks in advance for any response. If there is also other option, which will solve my issue I will be glad to check it.

I was deleting some images and then 1 turned into a image of a white exclamation mark with a white circle surrounding it and the rest of the image was grey. I've tried clearing cache and data, restarting my phone also when searching through my files I couldn't find the image, in the gallery I cannot edit or move this image to another album. So how do I delete is image that my phone doesn't think exists.

Space Weather Reporter downloads information about coronal mass ejections, solar flares, geomagnetic storms and many other events.

I often charge it twice a day .. one in the morning and one before going to bed &#128719;&#65039;.of course I don't use the smartwatch when sleeping. Hi I copied video files directly from my Huawei from \GabHuawei\Internal storage\DCIM\Camera

these files appeared to be MP4s and I assumed I could just move them like I used to with my Samsung.

But these files are not readable on my Computer. The file sizes show as 42 Gig but the file size on disk shows as a few megs.

I am either trying to use these files or to recover the files on my Phone.

Its a Huawei P20.

Ive tried recovering using fonelab which then wanted me to root it.

I have tried to root it using Kingo root which is also failing-

I've got an old Sammy Note4 that I use to communicate with my RasPI, it seems to have died. Even plugged in and showing 100%, it refuses to boot (3 boot loop cycles, then off). Could this be a battery issue? I bought a "new" Chicom knockoff on E-Bay about 2 years ago to replace the original, which would shut down when it got to 45%. This batt seemed OK until a few weeks ago when it started doing the same thing. At least the original batt would boot when plugged in...

I often send texts to multiple friends. However, when I subsequently send a text to a single recipient that is one of the multiple recipients of the previous text, it adds the other recipients displaying them only after the text is sent. In other words, I send the subsequent text to a single recipient as far as I can tell, but when I see the list of recipients after the text is sent, all of the original recipients have been added.

It's like it autocompletes the recipients, but I can't see that it did that until after the text has been sent.

Any thoughts?
