I cannot get my laptops usb to pick up and access my tablet - it charges it, that is all

Okay my pixel 3 was getting a little hot and the battery was about to run out. So I switched back over to my Nokia V2. I am expecting some important emails and calls don't want to miss them.
So I am on a call and the phone image symbol thing indicating a update is available to be installed appears at the top of my screen.
I pull down the notification tray
I see something about pie
I am like oh great I am getting 9.0.1 or 9.1.1 or pie 9. Something
I am on a call.
So I get done with the call and I go back to the pie update
I see pie 9.0
I already have 9.0
Then it Dawn's on me the pie update is for my Nokia V2
My $50 emergency replacement/back up phone is getting pie

My s7 has a download page showing that will not go away. The phone will not turn off with the power button. Upon a reset (Volume up, Power, and Select buttons held simultaneously for 8-9 seconds) a recovery boot message shows up for a second or two and the blue screen with the Android minion shows up for a second or two with a message about updating. Then all goes blank and nothing else happens. Any help on how to recover this?

Today I believe my Samsung Tab-A which is rooted, was hacked...out of the blue the sreeen popped on and for several minutes I just watched but couldn't see anything being done as the last app I had used was still on the screen. I then opened my CatLog app and watched. I finally disconnected my wifi network a few minutes in but I believe the damage had already been done. Here is the the log file from the moment my tablet was accessed.

I am a Android newbie, but consider myself pretty tech savy. I believe this tablet has been or scheduled to be "provisioned" and "managed". Does anything stick out to anyone familiar with this? Can you tell what was done or how I would go about reversing it? I installed Avast but it didnt find anything.

I am having trouble with My Galaxy S5 transferring files from the phone to my PC. When I plug in the USB cord to phone and PC, there is nothing on the drop down menu that says anything about transferring files (it once did) and there is nothing on my PC that said a new device is plugged in. I should say that I am having problems with keeping my cord attached to the phone most times. Would this have something to do with my problem?

my (android 8) phone goes right to my call log from the lock screen. is there a way to disable this feature?? i just want it to go right to the home screen. i looked under call log settings, but, didn't find anything. i have an LG Rebel 4 (LML212VL).

Okay so i recently just upgraded from S7 to a S10 plus and have been having an issue with trying to add an app to the home screen. Rather than dragging the app to the home screen they have added a option to "Add to Home" but every time i click that it adds it to a whole new screen, instead of adding it to the current home it opens a blank new one and puts it there... every time i try to use this option i am constantly having to delete blank screens and move the app to the default home screen which shouldn't happen when they have this option to do so... Has anyone had/have this happen to them? Is there a work around this other than dragging the app? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have bought a Samsung A70 from Three Mobile on PAYG. UK

I have bought this phone from Three since that is now the only way to get wifi calling. I have had endless talks with Three about getting this feature enabled. After all the "We are here to help you" they find a reason to end the discussion.

I have gone through all the settings and everything seems correct. I have taken to the 3 shop and they checked it over and find it is correct.

As I understand it the phone only needs to be able to connect to the router for the wifi calling to work. Since I can connect the phone to the internet it should be ok.

I was wondering if I am missing some settings.

Would appreciate it someone could help please

Hi, i am using Moto g5s plus. I am not receiving notifications whether it's from Gmail or from any third party applications. I tried many troubleshooting steps and still facing the same problem. Can someone let me know how to enable wifi during sleep mode. I think it's wifi connectivity problem.

I'm new to this forum and chose to join for I could not find any good solution on the web to my problem.
Many years ago I had a Nokia 6110 which was not smart but had a voice call solution that I liked a lot. The user could record voice samples and associate them with contact list entries. For example if the contact was called John Brown and the associated voice sample (using my own voice) was "my best friend" it was enough to press a key while driving and say "my best friend" to call John Brown. I did a lot of search on the internet for such an application since smart phones started to rule the market and tried some, but they were far less reliable than the Nokia solution. Question: Does anyone of you know a reliable (and not too expensive) app that works in a similar way?
You may ask why I do not use the default Android voice dialing. The answer is because I am Hungarian and there are many sounds in the Hungarian language (and in names) that have such combination of letters that are still not recognized reliably by the built-in feature. Your help will be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

Since Saturday, July 20 I have not been able to use wifi to reach most of my usual places! Settings sees my four home SSIDs and connects to each, then claims that no Internet connection has been achieved. Most apps cannot update nor access current content -- e.g., New York Times, Libby, Simply E. But, then, one of those apps will succeed for a while. Then lose contact the next day or hour! As the Verizon tech confirmed: it's random -- but affects the bulk of my apps.
At a genuine Verizon store I was able to verify there was no problem with the SIM; the tech swapped it into a another phone and no problem. As fixes I've "forgotten" my networks and re-entered them, and restarted the phone a dozen times. BestBuy, where I'd bought it unlocked, said I can only await the next update. SERIOUSLY?
Right now in SIM status I see that "Mobile network state" is Disconnected. How work directly with that? (Wow, almost changed to a Guest account in hunting for the APN settings.)
For over two months I'd had intermittent problems accessing the 'net with DuckDuckGo, finally removed that from the phone about two weeks ago, and had been happy to use FireFox to browse.
Does this sound similar to anyone else's wifi problems and, I hope, fixes?

Guys as some of you know my phone is stuck with half an update in progress I would like to know if you guys suggest doing the pie update on the V40 or should I still wait for newer versions because my phone works well now and the battery life is good I'm concerned that pie isn't perfect yet and I don't want to screw myself with the update please everyone share your experiences with the V40 on Pie thank you!!!!!!!!!!
