Firstly, I'm not an Android dev.

I know my phone has dual cameras 1 color, 1 B+W and the 'pupilary' distance is about 9.5mm
I'd like to know if it's possible on the hardware layer to build an app that would snap a photo with both cameras simultaneously or to record binocular video for use as a 3D scanner, VR content development, or at the very least photogrammetry.

I want to download a bunch of not safe for work emojis for my Android phone for laughs. I searched the internet for guides on adding custom emojis and the only method I found was downloading different Android keyboards but all the keyboards seem to have regular safe for work emojis. I have 2 questions...

Is there an Android keyboard out there with dirty "not safe for work" emojis?

Is there any way I can download funny emojis I find on the internet and add them to either my gboard or any other custom Android keyboard?

I accidentally uninstalled gboard and now all that shows up when i go to type or text, is the google voice telling me to tap to type. When I try to change the keyboard it is grayed out and i cannot select or deselect keyboards. Help!!!

Hey there. I was having an issue with my launcher app, go launcher, and I read online, that resetting app preferences may fix the problem. I have a Samsung galaxy s9. Well I reset app preferences, and now I'm having a different problem! Whenever I try to apply a theme, not only does it not apply, but the wallpaper is just a blank screen! Also, every time I restart my phone, the wallpaper that I EVENTUALLY set, goes away again! And the icon theme goes back to original, factory theme!! SOOO aggravating!! How do i fix this?? Please help!!!

I'd like to connect several bluetooth Heart Rate monitoring devices to an App that displays all current HR data in realtime for continuous monitoring (just the bpm data).

The App should connect to at least four bluetooth HR devices (or whatever the BT limit of the device is).
Data wise I just want to display the bpm (beats per minute) from the devices all on one screen.

Is this something possible?

Has anyone got any source code or know if this is possible as I can't get any official Apps that support this (Garmin, Polar...etc).

Yesterday i sadly lost my trusty S4 after six years of use and mutltiple roms/flashing adventures.

Part of me wants to get a identical used phone but i feel that it might be time to move on and thats why i'm making this thread.
I've not been keeping track of the phone market for years and therefore have no clue what to brands are good etc.

Due to some personal reasons, I was unable to use my phone for a couple of days, during which it had completely drained. After booting my phone back up, I noticed that I wasn't getting cellular service, at first I thought that my phone was broken, but I learned that this wasn't the case after inserting my sim in another phone.

How can I confirm if my sim is actually defective, any tests perhaps. And if it is broken, is it possible to recover my sim card

I am using android messaging app on my LYF water mobile. But when I down loaded, 'message' app from google play and made it default SMS App, it removed all details from prev. App. ie only text remained, date of receipt for all messages is the date when I made changes. Can any body help me in restoring 'messaging' App back.

I have 3 columns in my table - Id primary key autoincrement,name and marks.After inserting the data's IAM displaying the data's in gridview..IAM displaying only the name and marks in the gridview..on selecting the row I need to fetch the Id of the row so that using that Id I can update the record in the database...how to fetch the Id of the selected particular row...can one tell me the solution..

I admittedly haven't seen an issue in years, but it's still sad to hear they're winding it down.

This little symbol kept flashing every 5-6 seconds on my status /notification bar. It has now stopped but I'm not sure what that was. My phone has been acting up for days and my next step is to reformat.

Hi everyone. I have a question about a notification on my phone. I've attached a picture of it and circled the icon. This same icon showed up on my phone about 2 weeks ago and whenever I look through my notifications to see what it is, it doesnt show up. I have a samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, I am having a problem with Wi-Fi, When I download big stuff 600 MB+ and then turn off my phone screen the Download fails, this problem happens in Googleplay and in-game downloaders but not in Galaxy store, I tried clearing cache, restarting router couple time, forgetting Wi-Fi and connecting back, Also I tried downloading this from my other phone Samsung note 5 and no problems, so the problem is in the phone, Please tell how to fix it, I am running Android 9.0 .

Hey guys, I'm a beginner in writing Android apps by Android studios. When I try to test the main method in my model class, it said "Error: Could not find or load main class com.example.caps.Game". Why did it happen? How to solve it?

When Android was new, I was like a kid in a candy shop, buying apps left and right.

As I've moved from one device to another, certain apps have followed me, while others fell by the wayside.

Now when I browse the Play Store, trying to find something to buy, I come up empty.

So I'm looking for recommendations! What are your go-to apps? What can't you get by without? Which app(s) do you love telling people about?

I don't know what I want, so all genres are welcome, but I don't want any "shoot 'em up" games.

Would it be possible within APK Editor to add some code to any app so it plays some music?... or maybe not so easy!.

I'm currently needed to memorize about 35 paragraphs of text and I noticed that I learn better when I dictate and listen to them rather than reading. However, it's sooo boring!

I would therefore like to play my music at the same time as listening to the dictated text when I'm walking, on the train, etc. Is there an app that can play both at the same time, automatically equalizing volumes for each other so both can be heard clearly? The music I listen to are all purely instrumentals, which fit in great with learning the paragraphs.

I want some tasker tasks to cut off my addictions.

First thing I thought about is a tasker which will shut down my phone if I am using an addictive app (e.g. Facebook) for more than 2 minutes.

I tried but my task didn't work. Any solution?

Also, are there any other taskers for the similar purpose of cutting off addition?
