About 6 years ago my Wi-Fi network, and all the devices connected, were hacked. My identity was stolen. My social media accounts were copied. Got locked out of them. My wife as well. All of my apps are wrong. Very good copies. But wrong. A ton of my setting options either don't appear or are "greyed" or "light blued" out (can't change them). The more I dig the worse it gets. I can't take it anymore. Is there any way to lose them? I've tried it all. Yet even the note 9 I got steadily gets worse. My search options on my browser are old or useless. My app store even seems off. There is now THREE "phone" apps in my phone and FOUR "driving" apps (2 or 3 Andriod Auto and "2 car mode app". My Google maps is different every time I use it.
Is there a book (or something that can't be rerouted) that can help me? The image is just one of the many things (I haven't changed anything but I have apps and sites now telling me I have keyboard overlays, I'm using an unidentified version of Android, my IP address is incorrect).

hi, I installed the firefox addon video blocker on my android device. purpose is to block certain youtube channels due to my child's access.. Btw, i access youtube via the browser, not via the youtube app...
somehow, the block button just doesnt appear on the address bar like it did on a desktop. Anyone has a way resolve it? thanks

for 5 years to be honest I've barely used it. I started playing with it about 2 months ago.

it was generally running ok for about a month. the first time I connected it to WiFi (3 weeks ago), it kept white screening when I tried to download any apps.

I connected it to the kies software 2 weeks ago, and kies updated the phone, I *BELIEVE*, to MD2 version.
(I'll explain why I 'believe' that in a second).

The phone appeared to update, and has ran slightly worse for about 2 weeks. battery life had gone down by about a third, and it still kept white screening when I tried to use google play, or samsung apps. also on the LD2 software, the touch screen icons responded immediately. on the MD2 software, there were often small delays in opening the icon, and often small delays when anything onscreen was pressed

yesterday I woke up to find the phone was stuck looping on the swirling blue stars animation, and samsung logo. it just keeps looping round and round. only way out is removing battery. I turned it off overnight to see if anything would 'reset'. (it didn't, still keeps looping)

I've tried connecting to kies, and it says "SIM card not inserted", and doesn't see the phone

I believe the new software version was MD2, because I had a look at the info page 2 weeks ago, but didn't make a note of it. now the phone is looping on it's start screen and I can't check the version.

any info would be appreciated...

Hi. I inserted a metal tweezer into the USB port on my Samsung S6, to try and give the port a bit of a clear out from fluff etc, and now the phone appears to be dead, it just won't start. The battery was pretty full at the time.

OK, Yes - I know, in retrospect, that this was a pretty daft thing to do - but it's something I do regularly to the headphone socket when it won't work and always does the trick. The USB port was becoming unreliable so I thought cleaning it out may help.

So apart from confirming that I'm an idiot, does anyone know what may have happened and whether there's anything that can be done to rescue it?

I have a (Sprint) Samsung a50 and would like to know how to activate Google Assistant when the screen is off. I've searched through the settings but can't find anything. What steps or third party app can I use?

I have a LG k10 from 2017. A single youtube video keeps freezing at exactly the 14 second mark (0:14). Other videos load fine but it's just this one video that keeps freezing at that timestamp. I've tried waiting for it to load for 30 minutes. I've also tried exiting out of the youtube app and reentering. I've also tried restarting my phone all together but whenever I go back to that single video it just keeps freezing at 14 seconds. I don't know if it's a youtube problem or a device problem. I know it isn't a problem with the network(internet) since other videos load just fine. The video's format isn't too special either it just has 720p60 video quality. The only thing that might have triggered this is that I watched the video for 14 seconds then paused and closed my phone. Could that have triggered the glitch?

I activated thru family mobile everythings been great i did a factory reset and now my apn is set up thru tracfone and I've not had internet since I've been calling them since this happened on the 10th explained to them that the recent apn was working great before the reset when everything was still with family mobile that i shouldnt be punished because they merged.so if anyone could help me out id really appreciate it

I've been using my Samsung GS-4 for about 4 years. Just recently the screen starts to flicker and then the phone shuts itself off. The only way I can restart it is to put the power cord in the charging port (regardless of the fact that the battery is near fully charged) then I can get it started again. Once started the phone stays on. Anyone else experience this issue?
