Thought I'd share some wallpapers of fitness models and competitors that I size for the EVO. All are gorgeous, but some work better as wallpapers than others.

I'll delete if this doesn't belong here but anyone else having problems loading wallpaper? Every new one I select goes into the crop screen then loads the HTC default sense paper no matter what I choose except for live wallpapers. I reset my phone yesterday and it's doing it again.

Anyone else?

no problems for me. I use either 3d gallery or wallswitch to set my wallpapers.

Hmm i just use sense, maybe i'll try an app n see if that works. Nope wallswitch does nothing ughhh!

just cut up 2 more + another i didn't realize i had. and one that i previously had set as my wallpaper. all good quality if i do say so myself
(i have a crap ton of wallpapers for our phone. just trickling them out, fyi)

edit: and i'm currently rocking that first one. looks really good.

For those of you with pictures that are not the right ratio, 960x800 (1.2:1), this might help fix the picture so you can see the full height when the crop box won't allow you to.

<notice, all pics are reduced quality to save space>

CLIFFS NOTES: Use wide wallpapers, not tall wallpapers. The wider your picture, the more height you can get on the wallpaper.

1. This is the original picture, 800px wide x 1200px tall, on my Evo, with the crop box showing I can only select half of Tiffany and that pic as my wallpaper.

2. I Photochopped the original picture by extending the width (copy/paste the edges) and now the picture is 1600px wide x 1200px tall. Here it is with the crop box now

3. Here they all are. The original (tall) one, the wider one and then an even wider one (2200px wide by 1200px tall).

If you wanted to, you could then use Photochop to reduce the size of the picture while keeping the same ratio if you are worried about the image size. just make sure to only reduce it to 800px tall.

You can use this picture as is, you just lose the top and/or bottom like this.

Here is one of the current wallpapers I'm using. It's a High Dynamic Range(HDR) image. I've found that dark HDR images can make for some very interesting wallpapers. You can find thousands of these images on flickr.

New member here. Got my Evo about a week ago, been perusing the forums and learning a lot since. Thought I'd try to be useful.

None of these images are mine - they're mostly high def wallpapers I rotate on my PC. I cropped a few of my favorites for Evo backgrounds. Enjoy!
