Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I'd love to see the sales figures for this phone, just so I can gauge how bad VZW has truly ****ed this up.

My order was scheduled to ship today and I've still got nothing but an email trying to sell me a LG-VX11000. :mad:
 
e-mail i just received from the lady that called

"Mr. Leow, I'm glad that I was able to speak with you today to obtain the correct account verification. As we discussed, the HTC Incredible that you ordered was scheduled to ship by 06/23/10. However, at this time shipping has been delayed for an additional 5 days. I apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused. The equipment should ship by 06/28/10. I have a follow-up set for your account and I will contact you on 06/28/10 with an update on the mobile number ending in 8582. "
 
I for one will wait until tomorrow (just to be nice about it) for the guy to call me back. IF I haven't heard from him by 6:15 which he told me is his end time I will be calling and demanding some sort of reduction in my bill. I will also have the email up about the law regarding this since we were in no way informed of a delay and be quoting them. I believe I even have a screen shot from the day I ordered that shows a 6/24 ship date. HA!

there is no delay for 6/2 orders. mine was just shipped today and i was told yesterday that it would not ship until the 28th
1 day delay, 6/2's (me) were supposed to ship yesterday. just one day, not too bad:rolleyes:
 
on phone with cs now...all phones are ARE on back order. if they do not have a tracking number the day after it was to ship then they do not know when you will get it. I am going to the store and getting a phone or refund...good luck to the rest of you guy I hope you get one soon

i ordered mine on 6/12 at a corporate store, was told 3 weeks until I received the Dinc. Now its looking more like 5 weeks. I paid FULL retail for the phone. I'm seriously considering buying one on e-bay and returning this one when it finally makes an appearance.

Hey All, Where are you guys located? I just got off the phone with a VZW CSR and he stated the delays are only affecting the west coast warehouse. I live in the midwest with a 6/5 order date. He called the warehouse and stated my phone is still scheduled to go out tomorrow as scheduled.
 
My order was processed 6/5...ship by date 6/25 (tomorrow) had been expecting to receive it early at the rate they were going until we hit this dead end. Called csr today. (Even though its useless ). He informed me that my phone will arrive by 7pm tomorrow. He said it was shipping out overnight but he didn't have tracking number cause fedex picks up packages at 5...he said I should get a phonecall tonight along with text and email. I then said well if it doesn't ship tomorrow I want to cancel and switch to the Motorola x. He assured me it was set to go and that it should be here tomorrow. I have not received any more info, and not sure if I should call again or just wait and see. What do u all think....BS? Oh and I am in the northeast region....

I am in Chicago area and have 6/3 order (and process) date, with the promised "ship by" date of 6/24 (today). Verizon CSR told me today that there is no way the phone will ship today, that they "will try to get [my phone] out by 28th but no guarantees."

I don't think it is just the West Coast warehouse issue. More likely the CSR just said whatever would get you off his neck.
