Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

VZW is trying to give me a stroke! Received "sorry" email, yesterday. 5 min. later received shipping notice and fedex tracking. Expected arrival from fedex 7/2. received text msg. from VZW this evening stating sorry there is a 8 day shipping delay. Stopped in Verizon on way home to check out if this was just a late text. CSR could not tell me sh*t except that it was out of their control and would I like a Droid X. lol.

I'm just going to keep checking that FEDEX sight for movement. lol

VZW still doesn't have its act together. Customer service is appalling and I don't believe anything I hear.

ship date 6/30
arrival: 7/2 by 7:00pm.

Going to have to take an ambien to sleep tonight. Thanks everyone for helping to pass the time.

Maybe the phones will get here sooner then posted. Well we can at least hope so. If they do get shipped sooner they will prob. have the sony screens.

I'm a 7/16, too. I am hoping for a miracle and they end up doing some serious catch-up on production. At the very least I would like to receive it on 7/16 so I can have the weekend to get it set up and play with it.

I won't hold my breath though :rolleyes:

Yeah if you did you would die for sure. Verizon is taking forever! Ive never had to wait this long for a phone before. It does seem like theres been an increase though. Ive been logging on to this forum for weeks and at the begining the orders were shipping out a lot slower then they are now.
 
I had not received my shipping email but called *611 one last time before going to bed (as is my ritual) and GOT THE AWAITING ACTIVATION MESSAGE!!! My phone left Memphis at 9:25 PM and will be here tomorrow by 3:00 PM!!! Halle-freaking-lujah! It's a miracle!

Yeah, i got the text after i got the shipping email from fedex with the tracking number. Verizon can't get anything right these days. Lucky for them, their network is better than everybody else.

How did you get the $100 credit? I called a few days ago and all i got was a "sorry". I guess i was too nice to the CSR.
 
Psychic influence over VZW - Call CS a day or more after your expected ship date and magically, you will get a shipment email. I've seen it happen to numerous others (tens of pages ago) and it happened to me today, after being told of a 8 day delay.

Try it!

Wow, Im shocked that you had to pay 300? well plus the Mail in rebate would be 200 in the end right?

I got mine for 50$. New Every Two plus another 50 off with the private sale they were doing that i got invited to. AND I didn't have to pay right then. They billed to my account so im going to see the bill for the phone around when i receive it.

I have the same problem with my env2...i've been pretty careful with my phone with not dropping it or in the toilet like you did though hahaha the majority of my front buttons just stopped working (like the ok, send, some numbers) so whenever I get a call I have to flip it open and close it - i've mastered the technique! can't wait to get rid of it though and enter the smart phone world - hope you get your shipment soon!

Yes, 300 in store with 100 mail in rebate, should have gotten me faster shipping or something. Mine was an early upgrade, so yea. The guy there didn't even mention that I could have it billed to the account, just that if I wanted to order the phone, I had to pay then.

6/13er. Seems as if the numbers are starting to get close... a few 9s, a couple of 10s, one 11...

That said, if I get a TFT, I'm going X. I wanted the AMOLED when I ordered and I won't accept a switcheroo.
