@droidlanding did insinuate that he know people will be traveling to find these things so timestamps and timezones would be too much of an issue
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
It's hooked up to a screen, which ties in with many of the previous hints. Seems fairly obvious at this point.
HDMI State of Mind.
Or connect in HDMI.
The next time someone tells you, "hey, look at that," you better look.
The enhanced vision of Droid X would be the perfect tool to help you find one.
But still....do you guys remeber when one of its original post was that they had 1ghz snapdragon processor? that tweet was later deleted....so they could have easily deleted the #12 retweet....but why didnt they?

This is the second large forums with people on the hunt. After reading a bit, I decided to register. And it seems I'm not the only Chicago hunter. I guess that means I'll have up my game in the case of one in this city.
Because it wasn't false information, so there was no point, maybe?
Where is the other? Get us some more inside info!
I don't want to seem pessimistic, but I don't think we can take anything from these clues other than general location > state > city at this point.
Or the twitter posts are cleverly disguised genius and we do need Tom Hanks ala DaVinci Code to decipher them.![]()
I thought so as well, but we do have about the same "Seemingly uses" information that has nothing to do with a location.
I would say these clues would add up to being useful once the location is found, so not so useless later on.
I can see myself and Supersaki doing some crazy ass shit trying to get to 5 first
True & I'm glad the average person cannot leave the office![]()
Okay. Just thought I'd give everyone an update.
First, I and my wife had a good time in Cleveland today. I've never been to Ohio. So, it was some good fun. We visited the Hard Rock Cafe, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Great Lakes Science Center right next door.
A detailed search revealed no phone. #12 is still out there somewhere. I felt like I was close, but I found nothing. It was especially convincing when I saw the lighthouse lens - amber waves indeed!!! I'm more and more convinced this is hidden outside in an environment safe location.
I did notice one light poll outside behind the SC with an exposed base and missing light. I got down on my hands and used a flashlight; no phone. The spider webs show this spot was not touched in some time. So, the phone was never there.
Keep searching this area if you're around. I'm convinced its there. Fortunately they've posted a clue about the Midwest for another X. I'm hoping it'll be closer to my hometown in IA and probably wont be back to CLE. Anyway, thanks to Cleveland for the good time and best of luck to everyone hunting for #12. Hopefully you'll get another clue for this one.

PS... I've missed out on the conversation today, but the latest clue for #17 puts it almost solidly in Metropolis, IL.
Begin All-Things-#12:
"Droid X designate #12 has been spotted in the heartland. Sending out amber waves of hdmi."
- So the heartland is America's midwest region. "Amber waves of hdmi" seem to refer to the song, America the Beautiful. The word "grain" has been replaced by a lowercase "hdmi."
"Droid X designate #12 has found its robot eye in the Buckeye state."
- The Buckeye State is obviously Ohio. And it says that it has found its "robot eye." This suggests that we're looking for something round, possibly light-emitting, and possibly creepy-looking. It could also refer to the company that made the lens for the phone (not sure who that is).
"Droid X designate #12 rocks. With its 1Ghz processing power, it has no choice." x2
- It rocks. That's cool. This could point to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hard Rock Cafe, etc. The fact that it was posted twice could indicate that it's between the Hard Rock Cafe and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This could also indicate that the poster is an idiot. It states that it "has no choice," and I am not quite sure what that means.
Oh yeah? How about I call everything east of the Golden Gate
BTW, I'm real close to where you are, so it looks like were gonna have to be frienemies now. I better not catch you scavenging around in the bushes looking for MY Droid X or else were gonna have some problems!![]()
twos a couple, threes a crowd...
I am in north bay... lets see who find it first!
Haha, unfortunately I don't get a lot of daylight to go looking, so you'll probably have the best chance. I was actually checking out a few places Friday but the weather didn't agree with my plans.
