Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Unfortunately, no... I've not been able to confirm if my phone has the AMOLED screen. Whichever one I have is sharp and clear with vivid colors... I'm happy with it but would still like to confirm which screen it is just out of curiosity!! :confused:

Today has to be the day. This is my first post and hopefully my last post while waiting for my phone.

I'm a fan of all of you and trust me ya'll have helped me cope with my waiting. I been without a cellphone for about 2 months now, have been working a volunteer job dealing with fundraising and Haitian Student interests in South Florida and it's been an embarassing wreck for me tryin to work without a dedicated cell for the past two months.

Been waiting for my Incredible since 6/8.

I say again..Today is the day. It has to be..

SMH @ my phone being less than 10 miles from me since early Friday morning (7/2).

I left a note for Fed Ex with my signature so I hope they leave it this afternoon.
 
Ordered the phone EARLY june 14th, it is now july 6th, no email no 611 news no nothing....i keep hearing about all of you getting your phones and am excited for all of you but depressed for myself
 
The eagle has landed.... was signed for by someone at another office who actually had the audacity to open the box and try to figure out what it was....

Never the less i have it on charger as we speak.... the inside of the box was neon green... is this how others' boxes were?? does this mean its not the amoled screen?? i dont really care either way just curious

How does the *611 notification work. Does it just tell you that as soon as you dial in or do you have to press a few buttons to get to a specific menu?
 
So I checked my tracking number thinking since I just found out last night that it shipped and it turns out it actually shipped on 7/2 and is currently on the truck for delivery! I am going to get it today!!!!! :) :) :) :)

WooHoo!!!!! What a great surprise. Looks like it is going to be a great day for deliveries, now if we can just see some shipping notices for those still waiting!

When the line answers it says thank you for calling verizon and then it says something in spanish and then right after that, without pressing any buttons, it says you have a device pending activation. At that point I waited for customer service and asked for a tracking number. When I got a person, they said they couldn't give me the tracking number because they were having an issue with their system and they would call me back. Then they actually called me this morning with the tracking number - used it and my baby is on the truck for delivery today. :)
 
wish verizon had the phone released for pickup, as they claimed they would

waiting around for the truck is annoying when the phone started the day 5 minutes from my house (and has been five minutes from my house since last friday)

We're paddling in the same boat. I ordered mine on 6/15 and they said ship 7/12. Still waiting, but getting more excited with all those before us receiving their phones and shipping notices. Hopefully they used the long weekend to get a little caught up, and we'll be hearing something soon. :)
 
Just got off the phone with A Verizon rep that said it is very very very important to let it charge for at least 6-8 hrs before turning it on.... he said alot of people are anxious and turn it on after 1-2 hrs and this is where alot of the bad battery reports come from, that the battery doesnt have a chance to fully charge and i guess "self recognize" its size or potential

I am usually the type to ignore warnings and would have already turned this guy on, but i am going to wait on this one

Boo :( So not only do I have to wait for the estimated ship date of 7/16 (which won't likely arrive until 7/19 or 7/20) but then I have to wait an additional 6-8 hours?

I mean, I did the overnight first charge for every other phone I have ever had but I wasn't excited about those phones. This is my first multimedia!! :eek:


ETA - Although... I could just mess up the stock battery and not even care! I already have my 1500 here and waiting for something to put it in. So if I just charge up the stock battery for 2 hours and then start playing, I can then do the real 6-8 hour charge later with the 1500 I will actually be using!!
