If it is Droid mailboxes that means there's not one in Georgia :(

well I don't think there are droid mailboxes in every city and as someone wrote that was 3 years ago. lol. we're getting 1 in GA, and I'm going to find it! i hope...unless it's after next weekend, then I'm starting a new job and can't leave, :(

Sorry but I called dibs on GA. So everyone who finds a phone must give it to me. Only fair I feel. ;)

Id like to hope that they are already out there and that they are able to be found 24 hours a day. I don't think people are holding them. Too much of a chance that the game wouldn't be fair. Manager or no manager one phone call and you risk cheating.

"Hey buddy be prepared the next hint for <insert droid #> and be here. Ill give you the phone and you give me a huundred bucks. Yeah I have it here with me now. If someone gets here before you? Don't worry ill tell them its not here or that someone already got it. Yeah bring cash. See you later at the bar. Bye"

No I think they are hidden

just remember, if this is the case, they would have to be protected from the weather, and elements. I don't think they have been placed yet, just vague clues to get people ready in a general/city area. Then like some here have stated, we will get specific location, or coded GPS coordinates, etc

If they aren't in place yet and are later hidden where people already checked, people are going to be pissed. I don't think they can risk that.

They make watertight/element proof containers.. slap a droid x eye on it to make it 'more visible'. They have to be out there already.. it's just extremely difficult to find something hidden when the closest clue you have is what city it is in.

^^ what he said.

Imagine paying the $20 to check the RRHoF or something and later hearing there was a guy in there holding it, but he was using the bathroom or something when you came by that day.

Or like the people that spent a few hours checking the Texas Motor Speedway, or the people that drove an hour or more to check locations.

Yeah, it may be foolish to drive that far to check for a phone without knowing that's where it is, but DroidLanding should be giving more information.

We either need better clues to know exactly where to look or, at the very least, we need to know WHAT we're looking for and if something is even in place yet.

Them constantly saying there's a new phone that's been spotted is pointless. Great, there's yet another phone we know nothing about and have no idea what to look for.

I think all these phones need ot be found before the 15th. By then anyone that's really interested in the phone is just going to buy one. After that I have a feeling there is going to be a huge drop in "players"

Or braved 4th of July traffic and tourists to wander around Lombard St and Coit Tower in SF! I was NOT about to go digging in garbage cans (although I did look inside, just in case;)) or in people's private gardens for a weatherproof container. krichek looked in the same areas and found the same as me...nuttin!!! If we find out it was there and we missed it, our fault for not looking good enough. If we find out it was where we looked, but they didn't plant it yet, someone dies!!!

I agree telling us about new ones is frustrating given the fact noone has found any of the others yet. I don't care if they are all found before the 15th, but at least 5-10 of them should be.

And I hope there is a huge drop in "players", better chance for me to find one :D

Why doesn't someone check out EXCLESIOR college, obviously if they had the real phone, why would they tell you on the phone, that would create a Frenzy. If I lived in Albany, I would check it out.

#5 is in dallas!! Yeeeesssssssss

[..] is near a grassy knoll. Shooting HD.

Could argue the clue is a little tasteless, but I wonder if it means it's near the Kennedy Memorial, or just Dallas.

Droid X designate #5 is near a grassy knoll. Shooting HD.

"Shooting HD." Grammar problem again, or secret hint?

Should be "Shooting in HD" or "Shooting HD video".

Is that a sick reference to JFK seeing he was shot?

As at least one other person has said, its probably something to do with the Kennedy memorial... Or somewhere near the shooting site?

Maybe check out the 6th Floor Museum? http://www.jfk.org/

When you type in Grassy Knoll in google, you get Dealey Plaza where JFK was shot, so it's got to be their. GO, GO, GO!

It's a reference to Dealey Plaza and the JFK assassination. One of the many conspiracy theories is that there was a second shooter on the "grassy knoll".

Edit: Beaten to the punch.

That's just...wrong. So very wrong. (if that's the case. Remember, we've concluded that the poster is an idiot:D!)

Good point. It may not be in or around Dealy Plaza. But they could still go look!
