damn i hope the next one is in california. the longer it takes the more people are going to know about this promotion and more people racing to find the phone. Hopefully they'll do the most populated areas first since less promotion is required with more people around.

San Francisco is ranked like 12th by population.. Gonna be a few more in other places first if they do it that way.

I am pretty tempted to just go cancel my Droid X pre-order and go to a different provider if it's a Verizon thing, because this has turned out to be an uber lame promotion.

You guys put in lots of effort to find these phones and I'm sorry non of the followers were the first to pick one up. Chris you failed us!!! I'm hoping to find the SF one but I'm about 2 hrs away so best hunting everyone!

I heard he's 10 feet tall and was actually the 3rd person to get their but threatened to kill the first 2 along with all the verizon reps and just take the phone, so they obliged him and announced him the winner.
