"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

There's a park with fountains and such in front of the Franklyn Institute.. looks like a decent spot to hide it.. maybe look for a clock tower or sundial?

Haha, that's what I am trying to figure out.. streetview goes past it either direction, won't center on it.

I'm trying to think where in SF there'd be a spot with one directional vision, and no huge crowds to view the hiding of the cert. I will be in the Sunset/Parkside area Saturday, and the only way I'll have a shot is if they put it in a park nearby, or MAYBE the Sutro Baths...but that's still at least 15 minutes away. Thoughts?

I was just thinking about it last night. I don't think it will be on Lombard directly, based on the first one it looks like they are aiming for at least a little bit of distance from all the normal foot traffic. Lombard except for up by the Presidio is pretty busy all the time. I'd think people walking or driving by would stop if they see something weird going on.

Then again there are tons of tourists running around with cameras so maybe they could blend in lol...
 
I really hope this was just some sort of 1-day ahead of time clue, though I have doubts. If it is, that means I can go hunting for it tomorrow.

Not sure but from Google Maps looks like a SUN DIAL on the outside of the Franklin institute. Corner of 21st st. and Race St.

The Clue said "Find it in time."

There is a statue, but I can't make out of who on the NE side of the Institute across the road.

or maybe in Logan square, in the middle of the roundabout right by the center. big open space, with a building at one end. Just a thought
