I'm kinda thinking that's why they haven't announced anything about it yet. I mean it has slowed down alot (live in Midwest City) and with it being at most likely the hall of fame it shouldn't be so bad, but either way I plan on going out, just hope it does end up at the Cowboy Hall of Fame so I don't drive out there and have to drive to other end of city lol

Well looks like I can relax on Sunday now and not worry about the hunt. Bought one brand new should have it Monday at the latest!
 
Basically the "main" clue will basically/hopefully give you a area that you need to be looking for like the map thing for the #4 and he went and checked the map box. If you notice something like that for you're location then good indication it's probably bout to be up for grabs in 20 or more minutes. Then after that will be your Coordinate clue, cause at this rate I doubt that they're going to give a date for all the rest of the X's as they have to step it up.

One thing I am thinking though is that they might be trying to do big publicity stunt on the 15th and put up like 4 or more, and encourage people at the store with something like "How far would you go for a Droid X?" or something to get some publicity out of it when they run out of droids.

Well I am way down SW of Okc I am hoping but doubt they do it by Ft. Sill. Nice and historic:) plus it an hour away for me that way verses 2hr for OKC.
And first come fisrt serve. I would let you look at it:D

They claim they fixed that issue with their system...

Even if so, you won't be able to activate it til Thursday...

Got it from someone who got it from the press conference.

Also thats not true. People have already activated them with no problems. Verizon advised people not to activate them until the 15th because certain apps and features won't work until then.

For example the tethering feature most likely won't work until the 15th because it can't be put on your plan until then. Oh and the blockbuster update requires an update but if you tell it to update it goes to the market place and finds nothing.

If you think about the clues, it could mean something along the lines that the phone is moving. First from sac to sf (skynet), then from coit tower (high point) to navigating lombard (which is still west of coit on the same road) then maybe it will end up near the presidio.

Just a thought.

The ones in Utah had Red and Green lights. The ones in Detroit had Red/Amber/Green (hence, "modern").

Look up Williams Potts and pretty much everything you find will credit him as inventing the first traffic lights with the 3 colors that we use today.

Not sure where you're seeing the possible largest cement plant in Utah, not seeing that anywhere... But the one in MI at least used to be the largest until like 2009 or so when the one in Missouri overtook it.

Lol ya I live like 10 mins. from Hall of Fame all Highway just never actually been there, might have to take early stop and scope out possible locations :D I'm really thinking Cowboy Hall of Fame like alotta other people from the clue and aint much else over there that's close to the CHoF that it could be around.

And it's possible to activate your just not getting any help from Verizon in store or Customer Support, but you should be able to *228 1 and get it activated

Ok, I guess report back here as to whether you are able to activate yours on Monday or not... If you can, more power to you!

Will do. The guy said hes going to try to ship it tomorrow via overnight shipping but if not it will be shipped Monday via overnight as well.
