I use Swype. No pecking at the keys makes typing with one hand easier and faster.

stock all the way. i have tried shapewriter and i wanna try swype but stock 4sho. i did try the slideit someone mentioned earlier though and its very nice. i might stick with it for a while and see what happens.

I have Swype, Better Keyboard and Shapewriter installed. I use Swype the most. But if I have rubber gloves which I use most of the time in the Lab, I prefer using Better Keyboard. I don't even change it to shapewriter.

I use slidit Pro it's another version to swype and it has to built in mic. I wish it had the .com like the stock though and the ability to go up/down/left/right

I have been using the ime mod keyboard, and liked it much more than the stock keyboard. This is the first thing I have typed in swiftkey. It's text prediction is easier to use than ime or stock. But there is a lot of lag.
Is anyone else experiencing lag with swiftkey? I am going to try a restart and see if the lag goes away.

I am back after a reset and the lag seams to be a little less. I am going to give swiftkey a few days before I pass judgment. I am kind of bummed that it does not have a speech button.

I mainly use Swype, but switch to ShapeWriter or SlideIt when I need to write in French.

What I *really* like is that having a virtual keyboard instead of only a hardware one has allowed us to have this discussion. On my previous phones (Centro, Treo) I was stuck with whatever keyboard was built in.

I use shapewriter. The only thing it's missing are the arrows to move the cursor without deleting stuff. Too bad they pulled it from the market though.

Using HTC IME MOD keyboard from xda. Love it, very customizable. Tried swype and it wasn't for me.
