Accessories Who all bought the 32GB microSD card from Verizon? $99!

I bought one too thru telesales

Card by itself on sale for $99.99

But they had a bundle package with the 32 gb card and a car charger for $97.00....
Total out the door or should I say out the warehouse with overnight shipping was $109.76....

are there any differences betweent he 32GB ones on ebay from china and these from verizon?

From an ebay seller you have a chance of getting a fake card that is really a 2 or 4gb card. It will be unstable as you add your data to it....

With Verizon you know you have an authentic card...:D

Yes, the difference is speed (aka transfer rate in MB/s).

32GB cards only come in Class 2 thus far.<-correction, class 10 is available. thanks super noob!

Yes, the picture is of a 16GB but the part number is of the 32GB. Picture error.

And yes, you can buy 16GB cards for as little as $16 most of the time. It really depends on how much you plan to store on the card at once. Swapping cards on the Evo is not too fun.

Does anyone know what the default class is for the 8g that came with the evo? If its a 2nd class than that would give me a good idea what the 32gig would be like.

has anyone gotten it yet.. and tested the real speeds... sometimes.. they are classed at 2... but can still perform at higher

I'm kind of a join with SD cards but what's the difference between 2,4,6? Speed?

Identification
  • Speed classes should be clearly marked on the face of the card with the word "Class" followed by the number inside the letter "C." Some cards might contain only the number inside the "C."
  • Speed Class 2
If a microSD card is rated as speed class 2, the card will transfer data at a rate no slower than 2 megabytes per second.
  • Speed Class 4
Speed class 4 microSD cards transfer data at a rate of at least 4 megabytes per second.
  • Speed Class 6
Cards with a speed class rating of 6 will move data at a rate of at least 6 megabytes per second.
