Launcher Pro Plus

This is what I am using now. Before I purchase it, what's going to happen with future updates?

How will I get the app on my phone?

Right now the only way to update the Plus version is through the website. He is working on setting up an unlock-key system so that you can update through the market.

By the way, the app creator says he cannot put the app on the market because he doesn't live in a country where Google accepts it, how was he able to put the free version then?

I believe he means that he cannot publish a paid app in his country. You can publish a free app from anywhere.

Oh hell yes. I'd pay $2.99 for the non-widget version, it's that good.

This.

I'm new to Android, and have the X. If I install this, will it take away the 7 home screens?

Yes customizable 1-7.

Just bought it, well worth it. I hope Google fix the market thing so this guy can get a break.

I'm impressed...the other day I wasn't sure I'd continue using Launcher Pro when it went "retail", but he kept it free, fully useable, and added some great side features for supporters.

this guy is soo on top of updating this app..he's seriously shooting for perfection..if anybody knows of an app as fluid and well maintained as his let me know so i can give it a try lol and i agree i'd pay 3 bucks even for the previous free version..i CANNOT wait to see all the goodies and new scrollable widgets!

Already purchased...great program. Happy to support the dev. It's a great app. The new widgets just enhance it. BTW, the payment to install process is wicked simple. So don't worry about that. I'm hoping that it has built in update checking like the direct purchase version of Tasker which I'll be getting later this week (when my replacement phone arrives).

Unfortunately, Quick Contact popup is not working in People widget if you are using it on Droid X. Supposedly, Motorola didn't implemented that function.

I'm wondering... if he can reduce the number of home screens, can he make it so that you can have more than 7? Future possibility?

I need 9. Then maybe 11...
