Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So far, It's real nice. But I think I am going to need to buy that extended battery. Only issue I can find, Which Isn't that big of a deal.

Cannot comment from experience as I don't have my phone yet, but I have heard that even after the initial 8hr charge the phone doesn't have very good battery life for the first few days. Supposedly it gets better after a couple days.

That said I already ordered my 1500mah batter and have it here :) It should be enough for me.

My 8 hour charge is 28% done! Ahh! Haven't even turned it on yet.. (As suggested in the manual) Thank god i'm working 5-10 tonight.
 
Well looks like the phone gods love me after all! Just got my email. Hooray!!! It shipped out today and I should have it by 3:00pm tomorrow. So I actually did get my overnight shipping. It is in Memphis right now! WOO HOO!! Come to me baby!!!

Oh and I am a girl so I am thinking that my Incredible is a dude!:D

Email Notification & Actual Ship: 7/21
Expected Delivery: 7/22 Fed Ex Overnight
 
Unless the fedex man magically appears at my doorstep I don't get my phone til 7/26 anyway...I am leaving tomorrow at 4:30 am for vacation.

Only good thing is the girl watching my house can get it for me and plug it in.

Wonder if its better to charge it longer than 8hrs??? I am sure charging for a couple days is probably not the best idea, but maybe 12hrs or something.

I just got my shipment email so hopefully yours will be coming soon. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. They CS lady told me today mine wouldn't ship until the 27th. We all know that is BS. Good luck to you. I was in such a pissy mood until I got this email a few minutes ago.

Actual Ship: 7/21

I ordered 6/27 instore and called on AttorneyIncredible's advice yesterday afternoon the CS rep told me that my phone is on track to be shipped on 7/26. I don't understand the shipping disparity and how it seems to be hit or miss regarding dates.:confused:
 
verizon might be watching these threads. just go my shipping info and the phone should be at my door tomorrow just in time for me to go to work

lets just hope fed ex drops it to the correct house this time!

If you called *611 and heard that mssg ... it a cue that you might get a shipping notification soon...

Remember... u hear it only once... next time you call.. it goes into main menu after the language choice

odd... because the order just went in on 7\19 and i got that notice when i called in this afternoon

I e-mail CS and they said the same thing to me i ordered 6/28 in-store and still no notification. Some of these reps aren't very helpful, I know its supposed to ship by 7/26 thats what they told me in the store, I want to know when it is actually going to ship.

I'm getting the Incredible as a replacement for my bbstorm, which I've grown to hate. I just ordered it yesterday and I'm already going crazy with wanting it to get here. Haven't heard anything yet, no email, nothing.

be prepared to wait a few weeks before you get an email about shipping. its the nature of the Beast known as the INCREDIBLE DELAY!
 
I see absolutely no problem with the phone in sunlight. Perhaps the screen did change but the colors and display look absolutely brilliant.
 
Hey guys. I've been a lurker for the past week since I ordered my phone on 7/14. I am just so excited for this phone and absolutely cannot wait to have it finally. I realize my wait isn't as long as some people here but the wait is just as agonizing. I'm typing this post on a two year old iPod touch and although I know the iPhone 4 is different in my opinion it doesn't have enough new features to make me want a phone added on to my iPod. So I'm sorry if anything here is mispelled or sounds wrong but the iPod doesn't have the greatest auto correct. That's also why there aren't any commas in my post but that's off topic. Anyway I can't wait for this phone and for those still waiting I feel your pain.
The incredible has so many features and customization options that I'm looking forward to after using an apple device for so long. It's going to be a welcome change and I like having to learn my way around a new device. Trust me this phone is going to be worth the wait. The phone I have now is a freaking flip phone that I am just dying to get rid of.
 
The most beautiful words I've heard in a while..."Thank you for placing your order with Verizon Wireless. We wanted you to know that your Verizon Wireless order was shipped." Online order 7/2! Original Estimated Ship Date-7/28, FedEx Estimated Ship Date-7-23 by 7pm. Insert Happy Dance!!!:D
 
With all these people getting their phones sent out 7-8 days early, its getting me a little hopeful that maybe my phone will get shipped out one day next week instead of 8/2
