Android Market updates?

Why does the top paid/free apps never change or update? I would love to see this be improved. The only way i can check for the top apps is from android.com which is disappointing
 
Because they are at the top...unless something else sells better/is downloaded more than it, it wont be at the top. Seems pretty simple to me.

You mean that the top apps are the best selling/most downloaded apps, and they stay there until something else beats it? That doesn't make any sense at all, sir! ;)

LOL what? what did you want.. a rotating top apps? wouldn't that defeat the purpose of calling it top apps?

do you look at the list of wealthiest people on earth, and ask why bill gates is always on the list?

Why would they be the same? It's the same in the Apple App Store, the Top Free Apps and Top Paid Apps are different, because they are two seperate things: Paid and Free, you clownshoe. I feel like there's a disconnect here between what you are asking and what we are telling you.

I mean that the top paid apps on the android market website are different then they are on the cell phone and the top free apps are different then on the cell phone.......

Ah, I see the problem you are talking about. If you look at the market on a PC, there's one list of top apps, and if you look at the market from your phone, the list is different? I can't look at the phone store, I'm still stuck with my iPhone, and my buddy with the Incredible is off today. So are you saying the site you see from the PC updates but the phone store doesn't?

I understood every post the OP made, and it's a valid question, if you ask me douce was fairly generous. On topic: can anyone verify this, I haven't got my phone yet? Seems strange?
 
The reason for the difference is beause the market we view on our handsets are carrier specificand what we view online covers the whole of android, ie all carriers.
