You are using it wrong. The fact that you even mentioned "auto kill" means that you are using this app the wrong way.
Here's how I did it, I installed the app and that's it. Don't do any typ3 of ignoring or excluding of apps cause that is just asking for trouble. You just install it and let the android OS take care of everything else. You should not be using this app to kill apps or do auto kills. Only thing you can use if for is every once in a while when an app goes nuts, kill it.
My texts have been working fine with this app. So again you are doing something wrong if this app is preventing your texts from being received.
I'm trying to understand the whole task killing thing. Are you saying that the only purpose of this app if for informational purposes? It sounds like if I dont care about the information this app displays, I don't need any kind of task killer/manager at all. Am I getting this right??
Just to note, I have downloaded this app and believe the info is valuable but just want to understand this more.

Nice explanation.Well the thing is, if you download an app that just kills your battery by keeping your phone awake in sleep mode lets say as an example...you'd want to know what app that is so you can uninstall it.
This is where this SystemPanel comes in handy as it tracks the history of the apps (usage/battery consumption etc) so that it's easier for you to pinpoint rouge apps.
This is a good article to read that talks how Android OS manages itself: Why you don’t need a task killer app with Android. : AndroidSPIN | Your No.1 source for Everything Android.
Only reason why you MIGHT need a task killer is if you have a very badly written app that doesn't close down or have an exit option and keeps on running when you leave it. It's an app you can't live without, so you can kill the app after you're done with a task killer. Most people will say that if the app is 'badly written' you should uninstall it and find something better

Nice explanation.
Does anyone know if there is there any way to track on a per-app basis the network usage of a particular app? While CPU cycles is a useful measure of errant battery consumption, I think a larger problem concerns apps that surreptitiously sync/download data (especially when you're in 3G land) without one knowing it. It would be awesome to have a similar per app graph of the network activity of each app.
When I purchased my Incredible from Verizon the salesman installed Advanced Task Killer, should I uninstall it, purchase the paid version here then not do anything but let it run on it's own?
LQQK

is it possible to have different adjustable widgets to End say Inactive apps, and not End All? I find the End All to be too strong.

From my experience with the app, just CPU use. The stock android battery application does break down component consumption by percentage so many the developer didn't want to duplicate functionality.Does this actually monitor battery usage or just CPU usage? While they are related for apps that use the CPU, this app doesn't capture things like "display" or "wireless radio". If I'm incorrect, please correct me as I haven't found a way to break out overall battery usage stats.
I have 3 paid apps, and this is one of them![]()
i think it would be a cool little feature to be able to scroll side to side in the monitoring history screen. i like the 2hr and 8hr plots for the higher resolution but i think it would be a neat addition to be able to scroll side to side through this.
anyway, i bought the full app the day the paid version was released and love it. keep it up!
I hope this feature will be implemented soon. Being able to graph application use, battery life and CPU consumption are great, but not if you can't read them properly.
The ability to zoom and scroll through the graphics would be perfect!
