What good is h.264 when the update broke the damn camcorder app. WTF?!?!

EDIT: Regular camera app isnt working either. They both open and immediately close.

Try installing Advanced Task manager and then open it and do an "end all" then try running the camera again.

Check out the Display settings, under Video out settings (HDMI). Maybe that can help with some of those people trying to get HDMI output working. there's a 720p option and a 480p.

I had this problem too. DO NOT put the zip file in a folder. Just put it in the root directory. After this, the update should work for you.

Unrooted froyo success here.

Camera and video still working, kept all settings.
Justin.tv working
LauncherPro and Home Switcher work as normal.

Can't select 720p if you select H.264 as the encoder. Only allows 800 x 480

Just something I noticed. Now text messages show you exactly how many texts are in each conversation, not just how many unread messages. I guess thats pretty interesting since I was having freezing and force close issues with the text app and sprint told me it was from too many text messages....ey.

IT MIGHT BE THE SAME AS THIS FILE - BUT WE DO NOT KNOW THAT YET.
