Accessories HTC 1500mAH = or > Seidio 1750mAH

Mine just came in the mail today.

It is a tad bit thicker than the stock battery - maybe a mm - but the back cover fits on just fine. I'll post pics of the two batteries side-by-side later.

I'll charge it up over night (and follow the advice in the "want incredible battery life" thread) and try it out tomorrow.

Just ordered the battery from Amazon. I'll most likely return the Seidio battery for refund. I'm not really impressed with the Seidio batt. performance so far.

Hey all. If anyone wants, please send me their extra 1500mah battery and I will test it and send it back to you. I have been doing a comparison between my stock 1300 and seidio 1750 on another thread. I use a high end lithium charger to determine charge and discharge time and capacity. Here is a link to my post.

If you have it to spare, trust me, I wont keep it. I already have my Seidio :-)

PM me.

Can't comment on the performance of the 1500mAH TP2 battery (phone hasnt shipped yet :(), but I just wanted to vouch for bidallies on eBay. I did a Buy It Now on Thursday and the battery was at my door on today (Saturday). It's definitely an OEM battery and for $15 shipped, you can't go wrong.

Just for grins, I want to report that my Seidio 1750 gives about a third more time in uses I have actually measured than the standard Inc battery. That's about what I expected, since its stated capacity is about a third more.

What I don't like about these batteries is their cost. It's just absurd. The markup from manufacturer on these batteries must be about a zillion percent. I don't just mean Seidio, either.

I seem to remember a oem HTC 1500 mAH battery that had a red cover for sale(like our red 1300), but I can't seem to find the post with the link. Does anyone know where to purchase this battery from?

It's the EVO battery. Look it up.

the HTC 1500 (rhod160) battery is about .6mm thicker than stock.

.170" vs .195"

.170 inches = 4.31800 millimeters
.195 inches = 4.95300 millimeters

Another shout out for bidallies. OEM, fast shipping & better performance than the1300mAH included in the phone (even after 1st charge!). $15 is a deal...:D

Thanks for this whole thread. I ordered one to tide me over while I make my decision on the larger extended batteries. Chances are, if this works out good enough, I might just stick to this... atleast there are far more accessories for the Incredible with stock battery size.

I just started using my 1500 TP2 battery this morning, it arrived in the mail yesterday. One big bright side, the slight extra thickness makes my Seidio Innocase fit a little more snugly to the point that it doesn't feel like it will just fall off at some point.

I can vouch for bidallies too, Just received a battery from that ebay seller.

Works great so far, looked new as can be to me. Came very quickly in the mail, which is perfect for me, because then it goes in my locked mailbox rather than UPS and Fedex who just put them inside my storm door.

So I just recently got a 1500 from celldepot and I'm having issues getting a full charge. I turned the phone off all last night when I got the battery in and charged it. I got the green light, but when I turned my phone on it shows less than half charged.

Do I have to mess with some settings or is this something else?

Not sure about that one, but I just received this battery, charged it, and it's now in my phone for the first day.

Amazon.com: OEM HTC Li-Ion Battery for HTC Snap S511 & Touch Pro2 (Sprint)…

Jury is still out whether it's better or not. Using HTC's battery widget on the marketplace, my phone says it's at 78% at 1:30 in the afternoon after getting off the charger at 7:30am. I've texted heavily today but that's it. I'll see how it fares till the end of the day and try to avoid zapping it with this afternoon's world cup game so I can get a decent feeling as to whether or not it's any better.

how's everyone's battery now? it's been a little over a month. questions:

1. does the touch pro2 battery($15 on ebay) still hold it's charge just as well?
2. does the touch pro2 battery($15 on ebay) hold its charge as well as the one made specifically for the incredible?
3. the touch pro2 battery fits TOTALLY in the Incredible's case, right? w/o a bulging in the case at all? or a little bit.

THANKS!

Update to my seidio 1750... 6 outta 7 days a week... I run 6A - 10P before throwing it back on the charger all night (no bump charge needed); at least one day a week, i'm left scratching my head because It's dead by 7PM.

My girlfriend gets crappy service at her hospital, and she gets a full day's use on here TP2 1500mah. It fits, no bulges or gaps on her phone.

I got it from bidallies for her. Personally, I run the 2150, but with Froyo I may look into the slimmer form factor of the TP2 battery again.

PS, I was one of the first groups to put the TP2 battery in the INC. So, it's been well over a month for us.

hey, thanks for the quick reply!

for the price, i think i'll get one, you really can't beat it.
could there be anything "bad" from a "non-incredible" battery in the incredible?

thanks!

p.s. is froyo supposed to have better battery life included in it?
could the rumored htc update putting 720p on the Incredible have battery update stuff, too?
