Hopefully this is good new for me as well, as I live maybe an hour from West Chester. Unfortunately gmail is blocked at work so I have to wait until I get home to see if I received a shipping notification.

They are just telling people that to pacify them. They will get out sooner. That is just their way of telling you they have absolutely no clue what is going on, lol...

I hear ya there. I am waiting on two of them myself and starting to get very impatient. Not even tracking info in a week. I won't call them cause I don't want to lose my cool. I can hopefully just wait it out a couple more days....:p
 
i ordered mine on 8/2 just got email saying it was shipped will be here on thursday 8/12
i hope its as good as everyone says it is
 
To my amazement, I found one locally. An old, nearly-deserted Walmart had one. I'm actually a bit surprised the place is still open, because they put in a gigantic Super Walmart about five miles down the road. I'm sure that's why this place is so deserted. And, since it was deserted, I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.

Anyway, this might be something for you all to try if you don't want to wait.
 
I have literally every single Verizon store in town in my contacts, including the BestBuys and other unofficial retailers.. I guess I'll have to expand and add things like WalMart. :P

They'll usually try 3 times.

First time gets a note on the door. Most of the time you have the option to sign the note and leave it for them on the second day (whereupon they will pick up the note and leave the package). If it was shipped "direct" signature required, they won't leave it unless you personally sign for it.

However, they will write on all of the notes where the nearest FedEx is, and what time the package will be there for you to drive over, sign for it, and pick it up. You don't have to take the day off from work or anything. My driver usually gets back to FedEx around 6:00 so they write on the note the address of the FedEx building, and to show up after 6:30 to pick it up.
 
Just received my phone. Screen protector (with some little bubbles, damn it. I'll have to get it professionally done), case, and thrown on charger. Waiting until it's 100% to turn it on.
 
I sent an email asking for a credit on my account since I am paying for a service I cant use and a phone I dont have. I am really annoyed at the moment
 
i ordered my phone 8/3 and i never wrote down my order number assuming they would send it to my email...they havent sent me any emails yet im still waiting for this phone. i will be calling them today to confirm they even have my order. hopefully i get mine soon since all of you guys get it earlier than expected.
 
When I ordered mine the email said it would be here on 8/18. It is on FedEx truck right now and due within a few hours. So more than 1 week ahead of schedule.
 
Hey all I just received my shipment confirmation email! It shipped today and should be here tomorrow, WOOHOO! :D

I ordered it online on the VZW website late at night on the 2nd, and it was processed on the 3rd. I'm in Florida. I'm happy with the time it took to ship it out, considering it said the 19th online when I ordered. Well, looks like I'll be getting a LOT of stuff done today, because tomorrow I'm going to want to play with the phone all day haha.
 
My Fedex tracking information hasnt changed since yesterday. Ugh. Just cause it has two day shipping on it doesnt mean it has to take two days!!!
 
hey guys when you ordered the phone did you guys get emails with the order number in it or anything confirming your order because i never wrote down my order number and i called verizon to see if they had my order but they said they wouldnt have it if you ordered online...
 
I ordered mine in store on Friday, Aug 6. No email or anything. Just called *611 and they said they can't confirm any order done in a retail store, I have to call the store. Guess I'll be waiting on mine... boo.
