huh? yes it does.. it works just fine on my touch pro 2 at the moment. get speeds up to 1.5mbps

In the immediate downtown area? It most certainty does not. I just ran a speed test myself (on the downtown tower, Michigan ave by the stadium) and got 136kbps down.
Other towers around Lansing, such as the one at the eastwood towne center, are not affected. Another tower is is affected is the one west of town, and also south of downtown.

Where were you when you got that speed?

i tried turning it on but it just sits on "scanning" in the 4G setting page :(

is this normal for people not receiving signal?

I am in Oviedo right now, Alafaya Trail and Mitchell Hammock corner.

Edit: sitting in the same spot I just got a 4G alert on my status bar but than it was gone in like 1 second

Edit 2: standing out in the parking lot I got 1 bar 4g for a few minutes, 1.6mb DL while I had it.

First time poster, long time lurker.

I constantly get a weak 4G signal (0-1 bars) in the Waterford Lakes area, just south of UCF (east Orlando). Even with a weak reception, I am getting nearly 1.5-2.5 Mbps down. I am looking forward to the full release!

Don't know how I didn't see this thread earlier. I don't live in GR, but I work there frequently. Need to start turning on the 4G radio!

Anyone here in Michigan knows that Detroit is a dieing city and Grand Rapids is the new metro of Michigan. Every time i make it down there, there is a new building going up.

Whoa, slow down with the hate on Detroit, we get enough as it is ;).

I hope we at least get it testing in the area by next year. My bud just went to Austin, TX and couldn't stop raving at the performance. Can't wait to try it out myself :).

Plymouth, MI? Or are you talking about an area of GR?

I'm thinking an area of Grand Rapids - there has been no word of 4G coming to Detroit anytime soon - though it will be pretty nifty when it does!

I'm thinking I just might have to take a weekend trip out to the west side of the state sometime soon :D

Got amazing 4g signal at Panera on University and at my doctor in Oviedo on Alafaya. I live behind UCF and I get a "poor" 4g signal inside my house more often than not but it works and even at "poor" it's faster than 3G. 4g is here!!!! Can't wait until it's official. I cannot get 4G in my office on University.

I have also noticed that my 3G signal is more consistent at my house in the last week or two.

Hey we might have the same doctor, mine is also on Alafaya. lol. I live in Miami most times but tried 4G on Alafaya around UCF 2 weeks ago and got nothing. I am on CR 419, I hope we get 4G there.

Single plan? What's that? I have the unlimited everything for $99.99. There's about $13 extra in fees, btw. Also there's the $10 premium data for the EVO.

I'm downtown right off Summerlin/South St in Thorton Park and I typically get 1 bar inside and 2 outside. Speeds range from 1.7 to 2.9 down.

Got a nice, strong signal on the 405N between the 55 and about Beach Blvd today. 220 KByte/sec at 70MPH ain't so bad!

As of last couple of weeks, I started to pick up a signal on the 880 corridor between San Leandro and Hayward and then also in Fremont near the BART station.

Anybody else getting new 4G signals in the Bay Area?
