Hello White, Good bye White

Got the White G1 and returning the White G1. The bronze and white have keyboards that are silvery in color and the backlight is white which turns the normally black numbers a muddy gray pretty much matching the silver keyboard and making it unreadable.

It really sucks because the bronze and white are cool looking but certainly not worth the eye strain.
 
yeah the white and the bronze washes out the backlight for the keyboard buttons and it can be hard to see which keys you are pressing.

if you are in a really dark room with almost to no light, the backlight works but if it's dim, yeah it can be hard to see
 
I agree... I think I'll wait for a few months the price will come down, than I will get an unlocked colored G1 if it's still worth it... for now I'm sticking with the black one...
 
that cool that we have an option to change the colors of the other shell for our g1's. the carbon and the graphite looks good

I don't know man the carbon looks to much like my black one.... but I think maybe a combo of the two would be awesome...
