Root Evo Port Test ROMs | Droid Incredible

I'm currently running the Frankenrom from "One Rom B4"; any benefit going to this B5? Are you going to continue releasing separate updates for Frankenrom or should I be updating "One Rom" I've played with the others but I keep coming back to Frankenrom. Work well done!

Thanks again...some brews are on the way....

Not a lot of differences between b5 and b4. Although b5 is probably more stable due to not having screwy permissions.

I'm not sure whether I am coming or going. You guys decide?

personally I prefer them separate but you do whats easiest for you and I'll learn how to work with it :)
 
I prefer them separate as well. I dont get the whole adb script stuff, I know you make it stupid easy. I just don't get it. If you put them all together I guess I will just have to learn. Thank you for all of your hard work. I'm pretty sure I can speak for everyone and say you're doing an awesome job.

Separate please. :D I am no noob to adb but the whole one rom process seems overcomplicated. Besides I like to flash at work and don't have access to ADB there.

Now if we could have custom Tar installs like AdamZ used on the D1 that would be the ultimate. Just initiate the flash in recovery and choose all the options as it goes, Sweeet.
 
Dude so let me ask an annoying question just to settle my mind. I download this and then run the remove sense scripts or did I miss a senseless version somewhere? I will do the script I just need to find the best terminal or is that included? Downloading it on my way home from work in a few just thought I would ask. Oh and remove Sense is that just removing sense UI and the apps are mine to remove as I see fit? That would be nice as I like Teeter. I was running third wave and liked it ok but even with my hydra kernel it was slower and used more battery I thought about trying to de-sense it using your script but didn't know what that would do. I still have a recovery of it so I can go back easily and do that.

I like having the terminal option as I can't do ADB from work and haven't gotten my laptop set up for it yet since I don't have internet at home yet and it is Ubuntu 10.04 right now. I wiped it and haven't loaded any other OS'es yet.

Would it be possible to have both? There are a group of users who will JUST use the Franken-Rom and others who will experiment with the other flavors. Franken-Rom for basic users, and One Rom To Rule Them All for more advanced adventurous users. That is if it is not too much more work to create two versions.

so b5 is frankenROM by itself and not a monster ROM? my vote goes to frankenROM separate.


edit:from the look of its size i guess its not the monster ROM.

I think it might be easier to keep thing's separate Wave's, Peanut Butter and FrankenROM...

But its up to Adrynalyne, he is working awfully hard, and I think to many copy's of the same ROM, but with little changes here and there might get confusing.

Either way these ROMS rule :), and we should be seeing some custom graphics on some of them soon.

I agree, the ROMS are all awesome:D! Like I said earlier, I prefer them separate but will accomodate Adrynalyne (especially since he's been so accomodating for all of us) and defer to his judgement.

I'm in the process of a Titanium backup.
I'll follow that with a nand backup.
I'll follow that with a full wipe.
Then I'll flash the b5 FR stand-alone and cross my fingers.

After this, I should be running:
HTC Droid Incredible
Unrevoked 3.1
Unrevoked Forever
Radio 2.15.00.07.28
FrankenROM b5 {sense} (and whatever comes with it.):D

One Rom for everything but Frankenrom. I think it deserves to be its own beast.


@Contagious - The wallpaper is phenomenal!!!!!!! :D
