How do you disable the Call log and Favorites on the Dialer app?

As of now, there is no way to do that. You can clear the call log every once in a while if you want.

Why do you want to disable these things? Do you have something to hide...?

I think I know what he's getting at. When I hit the call button, I expect the dialer to pop open immediately so I can key in a number (a la WMo).
