Yeah that would be nice if you could do that but that ain't the case. You can't buy phones, put them on your account, and sell them because then you are gonna be stuck wit' a line on your account that you are gonnna be responsible for or you will have to pay a $350 cancellation notice. I'm not paying full price for these phones where I don't have to have a contract, I'm getting them at the discount price. In that case everyone would be doing what you jus' said LOL! Think about if you sell your phone. What two option do you have? Keep paying for a line that has no phone or cancel your service which cost $350. I can't buy the one in walmart and sell the other one when it come because Verizon is goin' to want one of the phones back if I don't want one of them.

Yea I forgot Wal-mart was discounted price. I thought it was just there price from them. Clearly didn't think about that.

Danget another person ordering after me getting it. I am so impatient

I know, I've been taking this stride for stride... but this S is getting ridiculous.. so he gets his in 4 or 5 days, and I ordered mine on the 16th but yet have to wait......... and wait...... and wait.......

So i take it, that this is NOT a first come first serve process, its a well, this moron dont need his, but i'll let this guy go on and get his... ummmmmm..

i believe they call this rambling

Where are you from and what warehouse did your order come from?
Hmm... I also ordered on the 13th and don't have a sign of mine yet. :(

Looks like our DX's will share a truck ha ha mine is coming to the fayetteville area.
I'm in Arkansas too, and hopefully I'll be seeing my Droid X tomorrow. I've been following this thread to settle my impatience(:p), and I guess it'll be coming to an end.

My droid 1 broke. Got a new x as a replacement. Ordered it thru the store on the 16th got it on the 19th not sure if I am in the same boat as u guys but maybe I am higher priority then you? Not sure

I ordered mine on the 14th in Aurora, CO

I found the order # and location code on the receipt but there is no letter in front of the order #. The location code is 74231-01 anyone have any ideas or is that the way the Colorado area is setup.

Thanks

Dear Verizon,

Just because I live in the armpit of Florida, doesn't mean you have to neglect the fact that I ordered on the 12th. Please send me my phone already. K thanks.

Your emotionally fragile customer,
Doc H

Same here. I have an email address attached, but I still call and like you say all you get is that it will ship by the 31st and you will receive it on the 1st. <<<<< GARBAGE!!!

I think people's locations affect the shipping time a whole lot more than anything else. For example NY customers are probably getting their shipments from PA while others will get theirs from different warehouses. It probably still is first come first serve, but only based on you area's availability.

That's what I believe too!!!
