Accessories 15$ htc battery doubled my battery life

People are saying that these 1500's are performing better than the 1750....is that even possible, with the same use?? Bc if so, i would definitely get one...Please let me know ure thoughts.

thanks :)

Not better results but equal. The 1750 actually contains a 1530 cell so its performs on par with the $15 OEM HTC 1500. There are a couple of lengthy threads on it... I purchased both and I can reassure you the 1750 is falsely advertised.

Is there a preference with which seller? One's a few bucks cheaper but if the other is more reliable then I don't mind spending the extra few bucks.

Thanks for any input..

I just bought this! Will see how it works out! Once you get the cover on the phone can you tell a difference?

mine just showed up from Bidallies.....should I be concerned that they were just in a the envelope without any bag or rapper on the battery? I just want to make sure they are new like the ad said they are.

No, you cannot tell there is an after market battery in the phone by looks or feel if that is what you are asking.

Thats how they come. Only things to look for are any excessive wear in the label or wear marks on the battery contacts. Mine was 100% new with no mark on the contacts at all, as I believe all bidallies recipients have been.

No, I mean like does the cover still fit as flush or is there a difference?

Its been thoroughly discussed.... snaps on flush for most if you take your time doing it. Some people have had trouble with hairlines gaps. Different for each device/battery combination.

There is a mixture of who bought from whom, but I got mine from OEM-Spot and they were 2 for $15. Gave one to a friend and they are both awesome batteries. Said refurb but there is no way to tell...looked brand new. Ordered as soon as I read this thread and received in the mail two days later.

I asked because people have been saying different things. Guess I am going to find out when mine gets here!

I really hope this battery helps, I ordered one from bidallies. I just charged my incredible to full, pulled the battery, started it back up and charged it to full again.. took it off the charger and it said "fully charged." I kid you not, I checked 5 minutes later and my battery said 97%. I really do like this phone, but that's pitiful, its like a job making sure my phone isn't going to die.

Sorry to bother, but I always "search" first and don't always get what I'm looking for, so could you possibly lead me in the direction on where I can find the above info regarding, "taking ure time with how to put on the back, etc"...mine has the opening on 1 side and wanted to know if there was a better or a right way for me to put it on.

Thanks!

OEM HTC RHOD160 BATTERY FOR VERIZON DROID INCREDIBLE - eBay (item 170540504300 end time Oct-14-10 16:41:27 PDT)

is this it because it is $15 and most people paid $10 and it is the same seller just dont want to buy the wrong one

I bought a couple new 1500mAh batteries with a charger on eBay a couple of weeks ago for my wife's Droid Eris for $8.99. While reading this thread and following some of the eBay links, I thought maybe I should check these batteries I have to see if they fit my Incredible...and surprise...they do. So I'm testing one out.

It was fully charged on the wall charger (not in the phone) and after a few hours only having sent/received a couple of text messages and turned the phone on and off a few times to check time, etc., BattStatt still says "Fully Charged." I can tell you that with the old stock battery, it would drop to 95% or less within a couple minutes of unplugging it from the charger. So we'll see how this goes. I'll update again in the morning.

For those interested - here's exactly what I bought:

Looks like eBay took down that link... I found some that matched that description from a seller named bestserver88... is that who you bought it from?

Just got mine yesterday, took forever to charge last night since the battery was totally dead. Will see how the battery performs today compared to my old one, hoping it lasts a lot longer!

Just got mine yesterday, too. It was completely dead when I inserted it, but charged overnight, bumped charged it this morning, had a 45 minute conference call while driving into work with my Bluetooth, and the gauge has barely moved. I, too, use the heck out of my phone (SportsTap, news feeds, bluetooth) so will be interested to see how this holds up to my usage.

Usually, when I leave for the day, after 5, it's at around 35% then I plug in for the drive home. I won't plug in until I go to bed tonight.

Ok, first day of use. Took it off the charger at 7:44, when it immediately said fully charged. It is now 8:36 and it is still fully charged. It's definitely doing a much better job than my original battery.

I'll fill you guys in at the end of the long work day!

This is a great battery..

With the stock battery, Battery Left was reporting full battery life at 22 to 24 hours. After using this battery through a few days of use and charges it is reporting 36 to 38 hours. The stock battery was with "Bump Charging" and the 1500 is with just powered on charging.

Right now sitting at 83% with 31.11 hours battery remaining. Unplugged at around 8AM.

Granted I am not a power user since my awake time tends to be around 1/4 of the uptime since last boot but that is a significant improvement between the 2 with similar usage.

In case anyone is interested this is the HTC 1500ma from bidallies on ebay.

Can you please tell me your settings in Battery Left, that allow you to see these statistics??
