Can you look up definitions with that dictionary.com widget or is it just for word of the day?

Yes you can look up words. It only shows the word of the day in widget form. Just click on it and search words and how they are used and it can speak it back.
I have the widget.

I'm using my layout on my Hero for now. I use my Hero as a test phone so I know how I want things on my Epic. So this is a layout on my Hero screen. Once I figure out how to add the indicators to the icons for things such as text, missed calls, and emails, then I'll transfer this layout to my Epic.

Nice Nate. How did you do that man? What programs are you using?
I think you use Launcher Pro Plus and Desktop visualizer to achieve that Windows 7 look. Desktop Visualizer allows you to create the icons or whatever and you use LPP to resize the widgets until they fit neatly together, I think you need to go into LPP settings and switch to the 5 row homescreen but I could be wrong as well. This is mainly a guess with knowledge I've picked up due to my Gadget Envy.

Here's my home screen so far, I am still tweaking it and adding/moving stuff around, but this is a start (see below).
Anyone using LP know how I can get the battery widget in the center? Also, how do I change/and or resize the font under the icons? As some are cut-off, with the text. TIA!
I think this is awesome. Where did you get the background and all the icons? I definitely want my screen to look similar and show my friend with his iphone 4, lol. Is this launcher pro? Where do I find everything else?

use folder organizer lite, allows you to make new folders (called labels) and select which apps or bookmarks you would like inside. you can pick the icons you want for the folders, bookmarks, and apps and you also change the name of the app as it appears inside the folder. keep in mind your not really changing the icon or name of the app, so if you look for the app outside of folder organizer, it will have the old name and icon.
anyway heres my current desktop, just a couple folders and widgets over vanilla
im using beautiful widget for the clock and switchpro toggles. folders are folder organizer lite

Thanks! Sorry, but I'm not too techy, lol. I don't even have winzip on my computer because the trial expired, lol. Can I just download the icons on my phone? If not, how am I supposed to do this? I'm still trying to figure out how to make the icons all text on the bottom and can't do that either, lol. If you have any advice, please help, lol. Thanks

just download 7zip if you want to extract zip files. I didnt even know it could expire, its part of XP for me

I really like this (and BOMIX's), above -- something about the B&W, I guess....
This is LauncherPro? I'm completely new to Android, and still running TouchWiz. In the above example(s), are there still the 7 scrollable home pages? (Not sure of the right terminology). If I touch the middle of the screen shown above, and scrolled L or R, are there other pages?

yeah you can pick from 2-7 pages to scroll left and right, and the bottom icons are customizable and also scroll, you have like 3-4 rows of those

I'm still in the new toy phase and tinkering with my homescreens a couple of times a week, lol. Here's a couple of the latest iterations:
In the second pic (current setup), I'm using launcher pro, light grid wallpaper (available in appbrain), MBlend Red icons via bettercut, and the motoblurx clock skin via beautiful widgets. The toggle widget in the top right (can't remember what it's called but I found it in appbrain as well) cycles ringer profiles from ring to vibrate to silent.

I'm just not sure what to do with the file after i extract files, lol. I'm slow i suppose. I guess i just hook up my phone to usb on my computer and copy the extracted file on my memory card...Then, i'm sure it's probably a setting in launcher pro i have to mess with? Still not sure how this would get me texts replacing icons though...I guess i should just mess with it.
By the way, i like your avatar, lol. Ivan drago from rocky 4. Great movie. I have the series.

yeah you would place them in the SD card, make a folder for them to keep them organized. even though they're text they're still icons, but instead of a drawing or graphic of something, its tex, still a picture though. in launcher pro you simply long press on the bottom icons and it will give you an option to replace the icon, you choose to do that and pick the text icons
