Ive been trying to get an answer to this too. No one wants to answer.
Its not "No one wants to answer", its "we don't know". (And you made two threads on this same issue even) I tried the site iphonemoviez.net and played a few seconds of some film. (The video quality is horrible, what is this i don't even) But it played properly on my Nexus One with 2.2 and Flash installed. This is a long shot, but did you install Flash from the Marketplace?
I originally posted it and then saw this thread and decided to reply. I'm just really looking forward to watching movies on my Droid X. All my friends and coworkers with Androids are enjoying this perk and I'm a little jealous. Yes, I did update my flash player from the market after I updated to 2.2. I was told to do so cause of the new updated that fixed the security flaw. I even reset my phone. Still does not want to play. Of all the phones for it to not work on, it has to be mine =(
I'm sorry. I hadn't meant to reply to all of your post specifically. Then I continued writing as a reply to OP. I went back and edited it. On a side note, I believe the OP has an EPIC, what phone are you using?
Also if you browse to Youtube's main site on your phone, not the mobile page or the youtube app, can you play videos in the browser window just like you would see sitting at a computer?
2nd edit-I'm going to keep blasting this because I just had a few ideas.
1) Are you and the OP in the U.S.? The site may be region locked, but if your friends can watch the videos, this is just confirmation.
2) Try using the Dolphin web browser. I believe their is a setting to make your browsing report as a iPhone/desktop. Try these settings and see if you can watch the videos.
Otherwise it may be a deeper problem.
download Skyfire and tryHas anyone found a solution for iphonemoviez.net on the Droid X?
This is frustrating. My wife's incredible does it just fine.
I'm starting to think the Droid X is seriously lacking in many areas.
I just would like to know what files my epic 4G is compatibale with. is it mov. mpeg mp4 avi what is it because everyone so far wont play or am I doing something wrong
