Flash Player 10.1

Ok, so i was browsing the android market and I found that Flash Player 10.1 was one of the apps for download on there. I was wondering if this was different from version of flash that came with the 2.2 froyo update. Is this download necessary or not needed cause its the same as the flash update with froyo?
 
It came out after Froyo. When you're on the Market, does it show "Installed" or "Free". If it doesn't say "Installed", you should install it.

Unless you are rooted and have a working Hulu app. If you download the newer version in the market, your Hulu app will stop working. You need modified Flash to use the app.
 
Now I know why my Hulu app doesn't work. That makes perfect sense.

Any way to get the modified Flash Player app back on my phone?

What ROM are you using. If you are using Virtuous, go into Rom Manager and reinstall the hulu with modified flash. Before you do, go into Applications and uninstall your current Hulu app and Flash player.

OR

Here is a Hulu app with Modified Flash that I downloaded a while ago. You could give it a try. --> HuluPack.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

wow that was quick anyway im using cm6 with the stock flash player should i uninstall that before downloading this hulu app ???? what is this exactly is it adobe flash player modified to play hulu or is it just a hulu app or both

I don't know about CM6 never used it. I think the Hulu.zip that I uploaded above is for a Sense Based ROM. I can't speak to how or what you need to do for that. Sorry.

Included in the zip above is Fixed Flash, Hulu.apk and install hulu flash player.apk

I will defer to someone with the CM6 to answer this one more completely.

If you want to try it, you can back up your ROM in ROM Manager or through Nandroid/Recovery and then uninstall/flash the new .zip. If it works you are golden, if not then go back to your back up you made and everything will be back to how it was.

I'm using SkyRaider, so your first suggestion won't work. I'll definitely try your link, though. Thanks.
 
I uninstalled all Flash updates and the Hulu app and then installed your Hulu app and the fixed Flash app. Seems that worked. Now I can watch Hulu on my phone!

Edit:

Well, now it looks like Flash Player is having the same problems it had when it was first released, namely incredibly slow audio. I tried the last app in the zip file, but it didn't really help.
