Looking fopr a high-quality MMS-SMS app

I'm wondering if theres a descent app which serves primarily as a text messenger but with an easy interface to insert a video or image. Guess I got spoiled from this feature on the iphone... Suggestions anyone?
 
I use Handcent (free on the market), but Chomp is another one that I have heard is great.
Handcent is very customizable and offers a ton of features. I have never had a problem sending MMS through it.

What is it about the stock messaging app that is difficult?

I'm assuming because there is no little "+" button available next to the input box. You can easily attach a file in the default app by hitting the settings/menu button on the bottom left of the phone, and the attach option is right there.
Again if this is not what you want you can use Handcent which offers that little "+" button similar to the iPhone.
