app idea (perhaps?): webcam-like ftp upload app

I've searched the realms of the android websites unsuccesfully so for..

for an app that allows me to set a given interval (maybe 5 minutes, maybe 30 minutes) at which a picture is taken and uploaded to an ftp server.

Basicly what any standard webcam software will do, only without the requirements of a computer hooked up to the android device.

anyone knows about any existing software i would love to know, and if someone actually made it i would gladly pay a fair amount for it.
 
Are you talking about using your phone as a webcam, snapping stills, and uploading to a web site all automatically?
 
ive stumbled upon Droidnetcam which seems to be what i'm looking for, however it doesn't appear in android market when i try to search for it.

Is that related to the fact that my phone runs android 1.6 perhaps?
