Pure messenger widget

It should come with TouchDown support during next weeks ;)

Can you be more specific. I would need to use Touchdown instead of the standard Corp Mail from 2.2, and no longer need K9FP reading WebDAV. In other words, true synchronisation? Is there a time frame?
Thanks

You'll see TouchDown emails in the widget.
you'll be able to reply, mark as read, delete ... from the widget, like for gmail or K9, TouchDown will become a new provider.

For ETA, ask to NitroDesk, it's in their hands.

Are you using scrollable mode ?
If yes, which launcher ?

I don't see any advantages over the stack SMS.

well ... the point is obviously to agregate all messages on the Home in a single feed. Not only SMS, but also gmail, email, facebook, twitter, calls... everything.
You never need to open an application to check if you received messages, you directly see them on the Home.

And by the way, there is no SMS widget on stock Android.

Sure there is. It's called MESSAGES. Why do you say there isn't.

Because it's true. There is no SMS widget shipped with the stock (vanilla) Android OS. An app yes, but no widget.

exactly ;)
but there is not even an app to aggregate everything in Vanilla Android.
Sure HTC does nearly everything, but if I well remember, gmail/email/sms widget is different from TW/FB widget, and no calls log.

A widget is nothing more than a shortcut to the app...so there is no difference then.

I think you didn't try the widget ... or at least, you missed big options like 'internal viewer/writer'.
I never launched gmail or K9 since a long time... I read all and reply/delete/archive from the widget.

Still pissed off for your old problem with Pure calendar on XDA ? that's the problem ?

am i the only one with issues on trying to comment directly from the widget for facebook? i get a "message error" every time :( is this a conflict with using the official facebook app?

I was wondering if it is possible to somehow set the internal viewer to work with one service, such as Gmail, but have the native app work for something like SMS messages?

I tried disabling the internal writer (reply) in SMS and I see the Directly open the conversation checkbox only works if I disable the entire internal viewer.

Also! :) SMS messages say SMS, is there any reason for this? I just started using the app so I don't have much experience with it.

Thank you! :)
