Help Quick question regarding messaging app.

On the 2.1 update the messaging app has changed as you probably know. but what are the ticks next to the text i send? some have them but some don't?

I was thinking that aswell, but some of my texts that do not have a tick next to it i still got a reply from them?

Had the same issue with the messaging app when i was on 1.6 but not sure if 2.1 still has it as moved to Handcent now

The reason for not getting the ticks is if

a) your signal drops when the report comes through
b) the message isn't delivered first time/straight away

just one of those things i think
