Which top 5 apps would you guys recommend for to start with?

WHich 5 paid apps would you all recommend?

So far my fav 5 is VLINGO, launcher pro, advanced task killer, conectbox, fancy widget

Thanks,
Sid

Zeam Launcher ~ simple and streamlined, I moved from Launcher Pro which was having some performance issues for me, I am not using any widgets and my phone is fast.

ezPDF ~ Awesome PDF reader especially if you read books. Copy/paste support is how I wish all of Android worked.

Moon+ Reader Pro beta ~ great reader because you can copy text from books, works great with .txt files.

PicSayPro ~ closest thing to Photoshop on Android

PowerAmp ~ I actually like my phone for music now.

It never goes out of style. Besides that, new apps are always coming out and my favorite 5 changes regularly.

I don't want to hijack the thread but I notice so many use "launcher" type apps and I am wondering what benefit they offer and do any make things run slower?

Slower? - Not that I can tell.
Benefits? - There are so many. For example, 5 shortcuts on the bottom dock x 3 scrolls through for a total of 15 shortcuts just on the bottom dock. Plus you can add swipe gestures to each for a total of 30 shortcuts just on the dock. Added cool widgets, customization possibilities out the wazoo.

1. Launcher Pro Plus (home replacement)
2. WeatherBug Elite
3. Pure Calendar Widget
4. Wordfeud (scrabble with your buddies)
5. Widget Locker (lock screen replacement allowing widgets and shortcuts on the lockscreen) Love having my calendar and Beatiful Widget time and temp on the screen as soon as I wake it up.

Apps:
Launcher Pro Plus

4 folder organizer - reorder the apps in your folder and cool widget for the people you contact the most
5 silent time lite - nice app with a widget that allows you to put your phone into silent mode for a set period of time, with the option to have vibration. returns to normal audio modes when your time period is over

other notable apps: peapod, sms popup, multitasking lite, and the weather channel.

i'm wondering when the android forums app is coming? seems ironic there is not one already.
